Book is OK - Online support helps need work
The author invites the reader to join a 7 Day Challenge to receive encouraging emails. I got two of the seven "challenges," which amounted to nothing more than, "Have you bought my book? Buy my book! You need my book!" I got a "just checking in" email from the author inviting me to tell her how it was all going. I wrote to tell her that I got two of seven of the "challenges," and that she doesn't need to hard sell her book - I found out about the challenges because I already had her book. I got an automatic reply saying, "thanks for responding," and "I don't have time to read your response," and "Have you bought my book? Buy my book! You need my book!" This author doesn't care about the reader. This author is self absorbed and is only interested in selling her book. I quit reading it. I won't buy any more of her books. I get enough junk email trying to hawk this and that. I don't need more junk telling me to buy a book I already bought.

Amazing Book!
I have read several Christian books about food obsession and eating disorders and this is by the far the best one. I am in recovery from eating disorders and this book provided me with exactly what I needed to hear. Highly recommend this book to anyone who suffers with food addiction or eating disorders.

"Annihilate the bigger-than life struggle that has haunted us for so long."
“What we’re about to embark on is a journey of learning to rely on God’s power to do for us what we can’t on our own: annihilate the bigger-than life struggle that has haunted us for so long. And He delights in fighting this battle for us because it brings us closer to Him.” – Asheritah CiuciuHave you ever wondered “What is wrong with me? Why can’t I win this food battle once and for all?” This resource helped me to understand. How many “diets/plans” have you attempted in your life…for those trying to lose and others seeking to be healthier? Yet, there is always another method/process/plan. The bottom line is that we are putting too much weight on the issue. (Couldn’t resist the pun.) In all seriousness, we create in food an idol. Whether we focus on chocolate or kale…there is just too much emphasis, time, energy, and thought placed on something meant to be nourishment. I am praying that “Full. Food, Jesus, and the Battle for Satisfaction” continues to teach me to fix my heart on Christ instead, for He has already won.In "Full," Asheritah offers solid, biblically sound instruction to help readers learn to lean on God instead of the scale. LOVE the free, interactive bonus features woven throughout the book: videos, lock screens to download for mobile devices, and charts/graphs/journaling pages. They provide great support and encouragement - make the experience deeper.*I received an advance copy in exchange for my honest opinion...then purchased another on Amazon and seven more from Moody Publishers. * Like potato chips, once you taste one – you can’t stop. Wait. You can stop munching the chips; “Full” teaches you how!

I really enjoyed Ashertirah's writing style
I really enjoyed Ashertirah's writing style. Reading this book was like having a conversation with a friend. This book is saturated with scripture which will help me look at food from a spiritual perspective. This book was a great read!

Raises Good Questions about Our Attitude Toward Food
This book about our attitude toward food covers some great topics and challenges the reader in a good way! I started the book and set it aside for a time, but when I picked it back up, I found myself engaged by the writing, the readable structure, and the important reminders.I found chapters 10 and 11 ("Embrace the Grace of Community" and "Serve with Food") to be especially challenging and thought-provoking. How should food be treated in the church? How can we move the focus of our hearts from food to God during times of fellowship? How can we remember and care for the hungry? These are all good questions...and things I need to think about more.I also appreciate that a chapter is dedicated to fasting, something noted in the Bible but not overly discussed in modern times. It feels like more of a radical or foreign concept, but I don't think it's supposed to be. There's so much I have to learn about fasting, and it's helpful to have some guidance in this book. When read too quickly, I could see Full being a bit overwhelming...there's a lot to "digest" in the area of eating! But I appreciate that the intent of this book is to direct readers to Jesus and how we can honor Him in this part of our lives that tends to "consume" a lot of our time and thinking. (Pardon the puns!)Full is an encouraging read that tackles a touchy topic with grace.

Life Changing
Once I finally admitted that my fixation on and obsession for sugar was out of control, I knew I needed help. I was secretly bringing on pastries and candy. I was out of control. Then I came across a study plan of this book on my YouVersion app. Loved it and immediately bought this book and journal. I can't express how much it has been used by God to change me. I have shared it with friends and they have loved it as well. Can't recommend this book often enough! Life changing! Thank you Asheritah!

An interesting read
A bit disappointed that her own weight loss was following childbirth and not years of struggling with using food as a maladaptive coping tool.
