It adds phosphate to the water without needing to dirty up the water with food
Great packaging and was very impressed that the bottle was put inside an Aquarium bag and they used a metal type of staple like you would get when ordering fish or Coral online. I bought this because my phosphate zeroed out and while I was waiting for delivery I was able to get the phosphate up to a detectable level so I haven't used the product but at least it's good to have if things do go south again. The seller is great as adult with them before and never had any issues.
