My original Samsung TV remote doesn't work as well as it once did. The buttons need to be pushed and held longer, and sometimes you need to push them 2 times. So I bought this remote and it works as well as the Samsung remote did when it was brand new! As a bonus, it has a very bright backlight that makes it easy to see in the dark. I do wish the remote had a motion controlled backlight, but it works fine when you touch any button to activate the light. One more thing - I liked it enough to buy a second one for another Samsung TV in my bedroom. The original remote had no backlight....

It does work right out of the pack. Only complaint is the backlight doesn't stay on. It comes on for approximately 6 seconds then it goes off. Other than that it works great.

Buttons stick minor screen adjustments don’t work and on top when you click okay it doesn’t process half the time

I'm glad I got this and like the product. Only wish it would have a "raised single silicone button" on the "enter button."

I have to have the one with lights! Works great so far. It wasn’t lit great at first but my toddler, did something to it & now the buttons have an orangey tone but it’s much brighter than the dim yellow (faint at first).

This is the best remote I had. It is even better than the original! The best $10 ever spent. And the retro light? No way, I'm in love.
