They don't last as long as I'd like, and they work real well. I use them for myself (I got old and have big gross toenails), these do not hurt and are easy to use. Much better than the wire cutters I got at the hardware store (seriously) and I do not have to worry about nails zipping by my face a 200 miles an hour. Best of all? My wife never gets upset at me for leaving clippings all over - these make dust and One pretend sneeze cleans up the whole area.

Great addition to my lucky tail dog nail grinder. I wish I had known before that I could purchase a soft grinding element and a rough one. This made a world of difference when I was doing my dog's nails because the soft one takes care of all the rough edges. You could just use the soft one and it's not quite as scary for the dog too.

Was excited to use this but it's just nut large or strong enough for our German Shepherd

Worked perfectly. These heads fit the Lucky Tail Dog Nail Grinder. If you have a large dog like I do then the grinder is the best thing to fine tune those toenails. I clip them first then grind them down the rest of the way so as to not hurt the dog. These replacement heads fit perfectly and are a must if you have the Lucky Tail Dog Nail Grinder. Always need spares!

These grinders are so much better than the nail clippers. May have to do it in a couple of sittings because it is different feel for my dog.
