Is this the same as a RX Vit D

My doctor wrote an RX for 50,000 I.U. the Giant Eagle near my home filled my RX with Biotech product and charge my $5.00 for 8 pills. As you can see Amazon seller supplied me with 100 for $20.00. I went to see my doctor if fact yesterday, and told him of my finding to which he said "yes, it's the same". The RX was for my insurance company .... I think that 0.20 cents a pill, is a lot better than 8 for $5.00.But let me get off my soap box and say YES, it's the same. But to be safe ask your doctor.Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
