The pattern is spot-on. It seems to be made well, but it just didn't fit. The cover itself covered the helmet, but it didn't wrap under the edge behind the ears towards the back (basically, the sides). The hook and loop connecters wouldn't even reach the attachment points, much less wrap around and secure themselves. My helmet is a large, so I ordered a size L/XL. When I compared it to my old cover... big difference. All I can say in summation is it doesn't fit my military issued helmet.

Unfortunately the helmet cover is incomplete. The infra-red patches were nowhere to be found on the appropriate spaces. Is there some kind of policy that prevents this? If so, this should have been part of the description, "does not come with infra-red patches", or "military use of infra-red patches is limited to active duty forces", etc. This was the only disappointment.

The IR Velcro spots do not have IR under them, lol. It looks Army, but...missing some Army fabric strength. EXCELLENT for those of us WeekEnd warriors! Thanks.

My unit never issued me one so decided to order one to get rid of the ACU type. Fits like a charm and no concerns to address. Good product.

The material is thinner then military issue. You also have to do the cuts yourself. However it looks great. I was able to switch it out and it goes with the OCP pattern perfectly.SincerelyThe E4 Mafia
