i bought this shovel and sifter for a beach holiday that i was going to metal detect at. the sifter, worked amazingly. nothing fell out that i found except the sand. the shovel, however is more like a garden trowel. i tried using on dirt and it snapped almost instantly.

Found this item great for sand but nothing else would easy damage digging up soil for instance

If you are buying this for metal detecting on the beach think again. The handle is too flimsy and bendy and not really fit for purpose in my opinion. I'm sure it has value for some niche job and is very reasonably priced but not great for metal detecting.

Spot on bit of kit

2nd time out on the beach dug down using spade in wet sand to loosen it went to grab a scoop out and handle broke off.Unfortunately this was some months after I purchased it.

J'ai eu la chance de pouvoir tester cette pelle à sable pendant mes vacances de prospection elle est très pratique pour le sable sec et pour le sable humide il est préférable d'avoir un peu d'eau afin de d'évacuer le max de sable !!!Mes dans l'ensemble c'est pas mal après avoir dans le temps au niveau de la fixation de la poignée !!
