I have an old JD X300 Rider, 2009. Still a good cutting, running machine with one exception, the HOOD. The wind blew it off the first time and piecing it back together was a challenge but did it. 2nd time, the same thing but even way worse. (and my jigsaw puzzle was even more challenging) Then one evening I parked it inside and lifted the hood (which I like to do, it reminds me to check the oil) and before I could get passed the mower it fell off completely onto the garage floor. Total disaster!!!!! Had to purchase a new hood. So, this aftermarket hood FIT PERFECT! Just a note if you decide to purchase, inside (it's black, the cover over the engine, don't know the name of it) goes on first, (do not tighten screws), then the bumper, then the front grill. The color was good. Reminder, tighten all the screws, connect the lights, and ready to go. Some said mow without a hood, well not me. I was concerned something might hit me. So, I bit the bullet and made this purchase. I live in south Texas and our mowing season is pretty much year-round.

Hood fits perfect on my X530. Shipping was pretty quick considering I live up in the Mountains. Installation was quick and easy. Would definitely recommend this product.

Not sure why everyone is whining on here. For the money, it’s a good product. Replaced the old one within 10 mins. Fit perfect. It just needs to cover the engine and it does just that. Mine is an X300.

It was a perfect fit for my JD X300. I had no issues with hole alignment. I only gave it 4 stars because the plastic is cheaper/thin than the OEM. When screwing in the side panel the plastic stressed and turned white-ish.

I ordered this to replace a broken hood on my John Deere x500 all terrain. It was a perfect fit with all holes matching perfectly. The color was also right on spot. Thanks for making this product at 50% of the price of the original manufactures. To make things even better I received it literally the next day. It said it was going to take a week but it may help that I only live a state away.
