Great Keyboard, Bad software
The keyboard is great, it has a great feel, compact size that takes up less space and very easy to mod/customise! However, trying to find the software, the correct software is very frustrating. You must look for exact software that corresponds with your keyboard, AND its product ID. After finding the software that matches your keyboard specifications (if you find one at all) you will be met with a perpetual cycle of slow downloads and eventual failure in downloads of the software. My wifi runs at a strong 400-500mbs, however this file thats longer than needed, and doesn’t even download. The whole process is outdated and thoroughly unnecessary.

Really Good quality for the price of the product.
I have been using this keyboard for the past 4 months now, and this is what I have to say about the product:First of all, the pricing of the product is insane, with a low price, you have a various amount of features that come along with the keyboard. First, the keyboard arrived well packaged, with the box containing a simple manual, a switch puller, and a good keycap puller, along with a USB-C cable. Now, going about the features of the keyboard, it is wireless (Bluetooth) and has the ability to connect up to 3 devices, and it has RGB. The ultimate feature that really sets this board apart from the others, and is the hot-swappable PCB, so you can swap out the switches. A lot of people have complained as the product comes with blue switches, but I never found that a problem as I was able to swap them out with Gateron Yellows.Going with the further specifics of the board, it is built with the tray mount method, where the PCB is secured to the bottom housing of the board and utilizes an aluminum plate so that the board offers a stiffer typing experience. Now with the stabilizers it does come factory lubed, but it still does contain some rattle, but if they are tuned they can sound perfect, and, the keycaps are Doubleshot ABS keycaps with a cherry profile. Lastly, with the RGB, I don't personally use it, but I have tested out their RGB lighting and different color modes that they have, and it is actually pretty good, the color modes are smooth and seamless transitions and they don't look choppy, the lights are quite bright (depending on the switches light cut-out, if you are using any other switch other than the stock), the only downside to the RGB is that the white light mode, is not exactly color accurate, as there is a small blue tint that can be seen.Overall, the keyboard does come with some great features, that really knock it out of the park, and although some products do have their downsides, this product only has one that I can properly outline, and that is its hollowness. Yes, the board is quite hollow, as there is a lot of empty space within the board in between the chassis and the PCB, if the board contained a little bit of dampening foam, to mute out some of the unnecessary sounds that the board emits.Since this keyboard serves a lot for its price, I would say, if people are starting to mod keyboards, with a small 60% layout, I would say the RK-61 is the go-to, and I have to say that I am extremely satisfied with the product, as I used it for my first keyboard project and purchased another one for my brother and tuned that board again, as my third keyboard project.

A good buy.. 👍👍👍
All in all I find the Royal Kludge RK61 a joy to use.. keys are responsive and clicky (blue switches) and I just found out that the latest releases are now hot swappable :) with bluetooth enabled the connection is solid I'm typing this review using the RK61 with my samsung tablet on bt device W as it can connect to 3 bluetooth devices which is another plus for me.. as for using it as a gaming keyboard I have yet to test its full potential as I'm still waiting to order a gaming mouse to pair it with.. still, I have connected the RK61 wired to my PS4/switch using a gamesir VX dongle and seems to have minimal/no lag at all, will update as soon as I'm able to test it with my ps and switch games..the backlight is awesome althought it's not as bright as the other keyboard out in the market.. it's very easy to change the rgb settings, changing from the first layer to second layer key press is also easy to remember..I love the placement of the arrow keys and it's position next to the FN key, making it possible to use it via one hand.. I would not hesitate to recommend this if you're looking to get a 60% compact keyboard.. if however you're more into number data entries I would recommend a full size keyboard instead.. hope this review helps :)
