Does the Auto function maintain the humidity at a set level by automatically turning off & on?

The answer to the question is Yes and No. In my experience it overruns a wee bit. Say you set it at 45, then it seems to run until the humidity reads say 42 or 43 for a while then switches off. So it does work automatically but it seems to want to make sure it has definitely reached the humidity level required plus a little bit to make sure. I am actually surprised at how efficient this comparatively small device is. It is also fairly economical as others have pointed out.

What diameter is the inner ring of the drainage hose. There are 2 differing answers here, not understandable.

You get a length of pipe which is app 15mm that’s used if you want to drain to a larger tank

Does system turn off when the tank is full?

Yes. The tank has a float in it which triggers shutdown when full. The light will then stay on red until tank is emptied.

What is the daily kwh?

Initially that depends on the size of the room and the water vapour in it. Mine is a 20 x 12 x 8 feet room. It’s a kitchen/living room. On start up with room being detected as 85% humidity, set to 40%I was spending £12/week. Electric then went up and has confused the value of water extraction. But it has dropped the vapour to 47-56% running in July 2023 0.35p/rate at around £10/week. But, I no longer require the use of the tumble dryer which cost more than that per week. So, cleaner healthy air, more relaxed, dryer, smells fresh and happier with the results. So in effect, healthy living. Cheaper to live with than without. Answer is leave it on in the kitchen.
