Y’all could take $150 off, why such a ridiculous price?

One word, Lego. No, but this is a very big, nice, well detailed set, and it’s remote controlled. The motors and the wireless hub cost around $150-$200. Not saying the price is perfect, but I definitely see why it is what it is.

Why is this priced like it is made of gold ?

Difference between frustration free packaging and standard packaging

Frustration free packaging means they ship the LEGO box "as is" meaning they don't put the actual box inside another box. They just put the shipping label on the actual box and that's how it is shipped. I would never choose this option because too many things can and probably will go wrong by choosing this option. You're better off doing standard packaging where the LEGO package is put inside a cardboard box and then it is shipped. Better protection...
