A BEAST!
This is my second MSI laptop. I know people have had issues with screens and hinges before, but I've also heard that the MSI customer service department is very good replacing those issues; thankfully I haven't had either of those issues yet. My old MSI GS63 STEALTH lasted me 3.5 years, it's actually still going strong but can't keep up with the latest games (GTX 1050), so I decided to buy this as an upgrade. My main requirement was for my new laptop to have a metal body (because my job requires me to travel A LOT and I'd like to laptop to be able to take a few bumps here and there), fast screen (this has 300 Hz), a processor and graphics card to survive another 3+ years (11th get i9, RXT 3080) and the option to upgrade parts in the future (RAM is upgradable although it comes with 32 GB, and there's an empty M2 slot). This laptop checks all the boxes. The only thing I miss from the old laptop is a full numb pad, but I've grown used to this in a week. Oh, and there aren't any LED indicator lights on the front. So you don't really know if your laptop is on or sleeping, or if your battery is charging (this does give the laptop a very professional finish, but I still miss it).First thing I did was a fresh Windows install (this comes with a Pro license). Reinstalled all the drivers, very selectively chose which MSI apps I wanted (MSI Center, TrueColor and MSI Afterburner were the only ones I needed). Google steps to make the laptop use only the Intel integrated graphics when not gaming (VERY IMPORTANT - the power light should turn white, orange means the Nvidia card is being used and using up more battery). I also used MSI Center to set the max battery charge to 60% to extend the life of the battery (you can always change it whenever you want, I will change it to 100% when I travel).Specs are very strong! They should be, considering the price I paid was $3,199.99 (I see it's $3,599.99 right now). I was hoping for a better resolution display (I read that there's also a 1440p option, but it was never available on Amazon). Thermals are great, I've pushed the laptop to it's limit a few times and I haven't noticed any throttling.Gaming wise, it's a beast! I've played a few games so far, all at MAX ultra settings. No hiccups of any sort, no frame drops, runs non stop. All in all, if you can justify spending this amount, need a very premium product with mad specs, and want your device to last you a good few years, this is what you want (maybe not with the inflated price right now).

Expensive but worth it. If only ehy can improve one thing...
This computer is FAST! If you are into designing CAD/CAM software, this one will definitely the one. However, it does not have an extra slot for the micro card so can may be some extra Gig of memory.

Screen died within a few months
Screen freaks out after 1 month of use, have to restart the PC after it goes to sleep/Screensaver. Poor quality for $4*

Best of the best
No other gaming laptop compares. This machine is amazing from top to bottom. Speed and performance are second to none. The cooling system is amazing, regardless of what game im playing, its never reached more than 104° f, which is amazing for such a high performance laptop. No bloatware and amazing preloaded software. More than worth the money
