Brand New OEM Replacements. Great but Pricey.
These are brand new OEM ear pads for the Game Zero headset and they are direct replacement for the old pads. Installation is a bit tricky at first but once you get one part clipped in the rest follow with a bit of pressure in the right spots.I have noticed that the new pads are still a bit stiff from the factory and will require a bit of wearing to break them in. Because of this they don't block out quite as much outside noise as the old pads but after wearing them for a week or so I can already tell the sound isolation is improving as they soften up and form a better seal against my head.Quality and fit and finish is identical to the original pads and they feel awesome when wearing them.$40 is a bit steep for some replacement ear cups on what ends up being a $100 headset but if the rest of the headset is still in good condition and working fine then these will definitely breathe new life into a worn out pair for less cost than a whole new unit.I am overall happy with the purchase and only wish they could have been $25-30 instead of $40.

These fit the HD598Cs
I searched everywhere for replacement pads for my HD598Cs that don't fall apart like the original equipment earpads. These are genuine sheepskin so I don't expect them to peel like the OGs did. They are soft memory foam that is designed to block noise unlike other sennheiser pads and other replacement pads from other brands. I notice no difference in their ability to block sound. They feel better than the original pads. I noticed two major differences besides these being real leather.1. These pads didn't fit as well as the old pads. I had to spend a couple of minutes making sure they clicked into place. They do fit and look original, it just took a bit more fiddling.2. The pads have some angle to them. One side of the pads are slightly thicker than the other side. I put the thicker side on the bottom of the headphone. It is subtle and doesn't affect the fit for me. It doesn't seem to color the sound at all. It may not even be the pad's fault. It might be how they were stored.I can't comment on how long these will last, but I have hopes they will last longer than the OG pads. Even though these are more expensive than the off brand replacement pads, these make my old headphones appear brand new and instead of having to replace my headphones I see these pads as a bargain vs replacing my headphones. I'm happy after a long search I found replacement pads that don't sacrifice sound insulation, comfort, sound, fit, and I'm crossing my fingers these last the lifetime of my headphones.

Fits Sennheisher Game Zero
I’m glad I don’t have to replace my headset, because these pads are the perfect replacement for the Sennheisher Game Zero. These pads have the bulge at the bottom which makes the headset sit right. I’m really pleased!

You just have to break them in and they feel almost like OEM.
I saw a lot of reviews saying that they feel cheap and are super stiff. And they do at first! But after using them for three months, my headphones are back to their original comfortable feel. The leather might not be as soft but I'm hoping that this new material holds up better than the OEM ones which started flaking after a year or so.Unless you're going to buy new headphones, these are by far the best option for the G4ME ZEROs.

Genuine product 1/2 the time
Over the course of a few years I have ordered replacement ear pads from this vendor, this is the first time that I have received genuine parts. I must say, the leatherette is exceedingly soft to the touch and is noticeably different than my first purchase. So, assuming you get a product packaged in Sennheiser packaging then it is worth the money. I personally have game zeros and I have yet to find a better headset than these, throw in a non gaming sound card and take your music to the next level of quality.

Not genuine. They crinkle. No more noice cancellation.
These are not the genuine cups that came with my original pair of Game Zeros. Like all the other reviews say they make a crinkling noise when you put them on and the noise cancelling effect of them is terrible. The faux leather may be the same, but the padding is a lot more firm and not as comfortable as the cups that come with the headphones. I'm very disappointed in the Sennheiser brand. They are selling these for a THIRD of the price of the headphones. I would have understood if they were genuine. Steer clear of this garbage.

Not a perfect fit
These look nice and snap into place easily, but they are not perfect replacements for the original pads. There is now a gap between my head and the bottom of the ear cups. No amount of adjusting can fix this.If you use these replacement ear cups you WILL lose any noise cancellation that these may have had before.

Easy Replacement
I was going back and forth between potentially getting a new headset and buying the replacement cups. The truth is I love the headset as it's very comfy and I've never had complaints about the voice quality (combined with the fact I prefer headsets to a whole microphone). I popped the olds ones off and put these in within a minute. A lot of these reviews have me so confused...like how were you trying to do it to make it so difficult?? The cups aren't as comfy from the beginning, but I know over time they will loosen up. They are still superior to most headsets I've put on. I do think these are a little overpriced for some foam cups, but it saved my headset and I'm glad to push off a big purchase for another few years.
