As a family who loves our wooden train track builds, this has been a great add on. Everyone enjoys adding this to the track, including my 1yo, 3yo, and husband. It is a simple short track piece with an attached house feature and manually rising gate featuring a stop sign. Simple, but brings the train track build alive and adds many giggles, gasps, and "oh no"s when the gate is left down and the train is fast approaching. I would say this piece is a great addition at this very affordable price point. Pros: - compatible with other brand of wooden tracks. In the included video, this piece is connected with a Brio brand garage and a generic brand plain track. All connect/fit with ease and allow functional play - vibrant, clear paint - easy enough for my toddler to manipulate, so I would put the age range at 1+ - affordable. These additional pieces can really add up so I was happy to discover this brand Cons - the arm of the gate can come unattached when extended up too far. It simply pops back in place
