This hydroponic system is perfect for starter plants. It was very easy to use and I was really impressed by the amount of accessories you get with it. I was impressed by it all. Being new to the process this system made it easier to understand and now time to go bigger.

Heres a photo of my $32 system next to my $90 system. Only difference is the light!m. Oh, and the $90 system doesn’t have an air pump! Hydroponics can get expensive on you quick, especially if you’re trying to grow enough food to actually feed yourself. It’s nice to have a less expensive option without having to DIY it. I’m not someone who has the tools to cut these holes in a tub and construct the thing myself. Could the tub be stronger? Sure, but the price would go up. Could it come with a light? Sure but the price would go up. There are plenty of more expensive options if you want all the bells and whistles. There’s not as many inexpensive options out there which is important when you’re trying to grow in volume. For now I’ll park this tub next to the lit system and let the overflow light tend to these shade tolerant baby greens. I found the instruction diagram easy enough to follow. I initially had a leak at the water level indicator but quickly realized I hadn’t snapped the pieces together tightly enough -when I heard the “click” the leak stopped. I wouldn’t say this is a great first system for a 100% beginner. If you’ve never played with hydroponics, maybe go get the $150 system first since they make it all idiot proof. Once you see the inner workings on a nicer system, you’ll be more likely to understand the value this product provides. This is a great SECOND system.

I’ve spent two hours trying to push the rubber stoppers to stop the drip and it just drips. No water pump either which you will want to time irrigate your plants.

It works well for flowering clones in a perpetual harvest SOG situation. May not work as well for larger plants, but I got it to flower smaller clones. May as more as needed.

It is as described. It works as designed.

I like everything there were nothing I disliked.
