this wheel was ordered as a carbide tool sharpening stone and it seems to do the job well however, the wheel runs noticably eccentrically which means the wheel is slightly out of round but that does not affect its ability to sharpen carbide tools, but this might be an issue for some users

Very poor quality.
Very disappointed, wheels don't run true, look like a bent bicycle wheel when rotated, should have paid a bit more and got something of better quality, won't be using in case they disintegrate, avoid.

I was a little reluctant to purchase this wheel after reading some of the negative reviews, particularly regarding balance but I am very pleased with this grinding wheel. Perhaps there is some inconsistency in manufacturing (not sure) but the wheel I got was better balanced than any of the others I have. I sharpened several carbide drill bits and a few router bits and it worked great. I will purchase again.
