this book gets 5 stars as it really does what ...
this book gets 5 stars as it really does what it says on the cover. it is really just a huge list of different countries, the banks, the websites, and how to open an account. that really is it.

What is in the title is what you get, but not much more.
This book does just what it claims in the title. It is about how to open and operate accounts in foreign countries. It doesn't really give much information on how the international banking system works. Not much on the Bank of International Settlements. There could be more information on how wire transfers work, banking secrecy laws etc. After all most people reading this book are wanting to hide money from their government. There may be good reasons to do this given the number of bad governments in the world.

A little dated , but well worth the read.
big brother is proving inventive , if thats not an oxymoronic offering, but the choice of getting your money out is no longer yours to make. its been made for you and if you dont figure a way to do it -you will certainly deserve what you get. in the last election romney was castigated because HE had his money offshore, in an untouchable trust or two. Thats not just legal, its the only choice an intelligent human has. the fact is that money offshore can be invested in american business without paying taxes here, America is the king of the tax exempt countries if you are only not an american citizen..european s have known for decades you should live in one country , work in anotgher and keep your money in a third. The common market has made that difficult but not impossible for them. here we still have belize and guyana on half of the globe.

This is an eight grade term paper turned into a book. A Google search will do you better.
This is a quote from the book, "...I would like to state that I am not a expert on financial matters."I should have stopped reading here but, no, I continued to here:"The currency of Canada is also known as the dollar."update:To be fair to the author I read the entire book.Typical of self-published books this work was incompletely proof-read, has little editing, and, worse, zero copy editing. There are typos, incomplete sentences, and useless paragraphs. Two sentences in a row include the phrase, "of course." If the content is so obvious what's the purpose of this book? Here's another quote."If you are not familiar with a passport, this form of ID is a small booklet."If you’re not familiar with a passport this book may be of some benefit to you. Though, if you’re not familiar with a passport perhaps you should reconsider the idea of opening an overseas bank account. If you are familiar with a passport this book is not for you.

Offshore banking
A well written ,well researched book. The author has provided valuable information on off shore banking. He has adopted a very cautious approach. It would have been useful if he had included Hong Kong ,Shanghai and Dubai as Off shore banking destinations in the east and few in South America.
