The box was not sealed. There's is no user manual as stated on the box. Hopefully it works fine.

Worst product. First received item stopped working after first use, i returned it and got the replacement stopped working after using 2times. Now the return window is over and this become a scrap. I raised ticket for warrenty, service engineer visited after 4 days of complaint and started bypassing the autoshut off switch as per him this modal has issue with that sensor. Instead of replacing it he is bypassing it which is safety issues for user even though thermostat stops after over heat it will again start heating if you didn't stop the switch. I requested him don't do that and replace the autoshut off sensor. Its been morethan a week since this request but no update till now. It seems same issue mentioned in several reviews. Problem is in the design and the parts so don't buy this. Go for kent or agaro if you want durability.

Best egg boiler. Go for it without a doubt. Boils egg within mentioned time. For soft to medium boil no need to make a hole to eggs. For hard boil you need to make a holes to avoid cracks. Using it regularly and easy to clean. Value for money.

My older brother eats boiled eggs daily and boiling them in a pot of water is pretty much hit or miss. Most of the time there will be eggs that crack or even burst. It is a pain to clean the pot. With Borosil egg boiler, you only need a small amount of water (no need for adding salt or vinegar) and it takes only 13 minutes to hardboil eggs!! It is also a breeze to clean. Plus, as a parent of a school-going kid, it helps me work more efficiently in the mornings.

Need more improvement

Boilng of egg is awesome. Previously I was anxious while boiling egg following usual procedure as to whether it will be boiled exactly to the extent that I want. But in this egg boiler it is hassle free. Just follow the minimum instructions and rest will be taken care of by the boiler machine. Egg will be perfectly full or half or low boiled as u want, that too with auto timer. However my experience with preparation of making poach is not upto expectations. I shall have to experiment with it without following instruction booklet that made it almost like full boiled one with different shape of course. Easy to use and clean.
