its easy to keep up with along with being an accurate way to deal with thread and screw/bolt diameters to make switch over from one to the other easy.

poor readabilty
sadly the etching of the sizes is not easily legable in low light and there is no easy method to overcome this issue

Works to check metric and SAE screw sizes.
This has gauges to check male and female SAE and metric thread sizes. It is awkward to use this as the gauges are fastened on a cable and do not turn independently. The sizing labels are faint, hard to read, and may wear off with continued use. Nonetheless, I use mine and they seem accurate and very helpful as I bounce around with SAE, metric, and various thread count projects. Clumsy but good to use sorting screws.
