Great product

I had been trying to cut wire rope with wire cutters and the rope kept unraveling, making it hard to fit the rope into ferrules. Then I found this tool that not only properly cuts the wire rope to keep it from unraveling, but also allows you to crimp it into the ferrule. It works so well! It made my job of hanging rope for a trellis SO much easier. It is well worth the money.

I have only used it a few times so far, but it has a good solid feel to it. It cuts and crimps perfectly, I've never heard of this brand tool, I picked it because of the reviews. Some reviewers complained about the cutter not lasting, I'm using 1/16 cable and have cut it probably 50+ times with no issues but heavy wire might be a different story. I think this is a good quality tool and would recommend it.

i got this for picture hanging wire on larger paintings. I needed something that could handle a little more weight. traditional thicker hanging wire had a tendency to unravel so i wanted a to use a thinker wire with crimps. other crimpers i looked at were double or triple this price. Usually I'm cautious with that much of a price difference but I'm very satisfied. i replaced the wire on all of my work even the smaller pieces. So I've used this around 100 times now without issues

Cutter portion was not very sharp and had difficulties cutting some of the cables. The "safety lock” tends to slide into,locking position easily, even when you don’t want it to. Other than that, nice tool, does what it’s supposed to.
