With that in mind, I decided to give the Orange Ginger Scent Drops a try and found both strong points and areas for improvement.The fragrance itself is reminiscent of Bath and Body Works' Energize scent, featuring a zesty orange aroma grounded by warm ginger notes. This unique combination works well to disguise the typical DHA smell that's often associated with sunless tanning solutions, providing a much more pleasant experience for clients, particularly those heading straight out after their treatment.This scent comes across as decidedly masculine, making it an ideal choice for my male clients who'd rather avoid the stereotypical tropical or coconut-scented tanning products. It's a refreshing change and has been well received.However, a couple of issues caught my attention. First, there's a slightly "grainy" or "wheaty" undertone to the scent. While it's relatively subtle and doesn't overpower the main fragrance, it's still noticeable, especially to those with keen noses. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's something potential users should be aware of.Second, to effectively mask the DHA smell, I found that I had to use a fairly generous amount of the scent drops in the solution. This means you may go through the product faster than expected, adding to the overall cost and possibly offsetting the benefits of the delightful scent.Despite these drawbacks, the Orange Ginger Scent Drops do add value to the sunless tanning process, especially for male clients or anyone preferring a less beachy, more neutral fragrance. Just bear in mind that you may need to use more than you initially thought to fully mask the DHA odor and transform the tanning routine into a more spa-like experience.
