CuZn ILF-200 Wide Spectrum + Fluoride Inline Refrigerator Water Filter

I live in Phoenix, AZ and the tap water here is very hard, tastes dry, and loaded with chlorine and fluoride! Filters or systems that take out any of the fluoride are hard to find. This filter has made the water on ice on my fridge taste refreshing again. Plus it is filtering out the some of the nasty fluoride and all the chlorine. The ph of the water has also gone up as well for me, which I did not even expect out of the filter. Installation was a breeze, all you need is pliers and short piece of 1/4 inch fridge supply hose that you can get at lowes or home depot for around $4. Have a bucket handy and fully turn off the valve and untighten your existing line and replace it with the shorter one. Then plug it int he filter, run a few gallons through it and then attach the other hose. DONE! I am already calculating all the money I am going to save on bottled water!!!

We already had a water filter in the refrigerator but it did not remove fluoride. The inline filter seemed like the only option to remove fluoride and now we feel like we have a great filtered source of water and ice from our fridge. It was easy to install and it makes our ice cube clear now. It was not until after the filter was installed that I realized how cloudy our ice cubes were. Also, I like the ability to see the components of the filter through the clear plastic casing. Very happy with the purchase!

This filter works great! We used it inline for our refrigerator's door water supply and ice. Installation was very easy and they even supply additional fittings in case you need to replace existing ones (I always use new ones when replacing filters to prevent leaks). We immediately noticed a substantial improvement in taste even though we have a built in filter in our fridge. All in all, highly recommended!

Inline Refrigerator Fluoride Water Filter Installation: I already had a different filter so it was only a matter of moving the refrigerator, removing the old one and putting in place the new one. I used the new hardware provided -washer and nuts and no leaks detected after 2 weeks. Filter looks and feel different from previous I owned: first the unit is slightly longer, thicker and heavier. The case is transparent and the different type of filter media inside can be seen which I think is a good idea from the manufacturer. Make sure it is flushed before the installation--read the provided instructions; after filling a 5 gallon bucket the water coming out was clear. Pressure was almost as good as without the filter. After flush , before connecting the hose to the fridge I filled few glass gallon bottles and tasted the water --the result was good -no chlorine or bad taste ; I had a bottle with me out in the garden ( over 95 F) and the water still tested good ( try drinking unfiltered water at that temperature). We drink a lot of tee and are very picky with the water we use for it; using only the fridge filter was not satisfactory to make tee, but using this filter in conjunction with the fridge filter the water tasted good enough . I chose the filter for its ability to reduce the fluoride and chloride. I have not done any measurements yet, but based on the taste only the results meet the expectations. So far no complains although I would strongly recommend to the manufacture to make more easily available and in detail what the product actually filters out because is not just fluoride. (they have it on their website but not very straight forward to find or to read) [...]

We are very concerned about the chlorine and fluoride in our water and were very happy to find CuZu Water Systems filter that takes out both in our refrigerators water and ice. The customer service has been very helpful identify which filter would work best for our system. They kindly answered all my questions. Since I already had an inline filter on my refrigerator, it was a matter of a few minutes replacing and installing it. It just took the most time flushing the filter, but overall easy install process. I would highly recommend this product. I will come back on here in a few months, but right now it is deliver pure, clean water and ice for us. Thanks CuZn!!

I'm on my second of these filters and have been very pleased with their performance. I purchased it because it was one of the very few inline filters I could find that removed fluoride. It also considerably improves the taste of our water. It was easy to install on the existing water line. Our first model did develop a leak near the end of its lifespan, but I believe that was due to it being stepped on (whoops!).

Product came as advertised. Installation was super easy - I just had to get another water line to hook it up correctly. Flow is much better than I had expected and the taste is outstanding. I got a new Frigidaire at the beginning of the summer and my filter was already needing replaced. That filter is about the same cost and is tiny. It also doesn't filter out fluoride. So, I took the dive, got a bypass filter and this filter. Easy install, water looks and tastes great, and I won't have to replace for a year. Can't beat that!

This is the best inline filter I've ever purchased, hands down... I live in Phoenix where the water is very hard along with chlorine and fluoride added, defiantly not good for drinking daily. I've been looking for a filter that will reduce the chlorine & fluoride and this does the trick!!! When I got the unit my new refrigerator has a 1/4" line and the parts were for a much smaller line. I called CuZn and spoke with Chris, he was very helpful and sent me a metal braided hose with fitting that would work with my frig. Thank you Chris!!! I can defiantly tell the difference in the water, and looking at an under-the sink model or a whole house. Their technology is very different for whole house, it is a salt-less system which makes it healthier!!! Good stuff!!!
