I Want to Be a Vet

My daughter was/is interested in being a vet so we bought this, and for the price it is a deal and a half - simply order it. I thought it was a bit too basic, but again, it is for younger readers and there are fun images kids can enjoy. So I hesitate between a 4 and 5, but would not hesitate purchasing the book as it is very good values for a book under $5.00.

our granddaughter has wanted to be a vet since she could say the word! Have no idea where or why she heard it, but she's 7 now & tells people she'll be a vet when she grows up. I bought these books on a veterinarian's life & the above "I want to be a vet", as she's an avid reader already.Hopefully she'll continue to be.

I bought this for my first graders as part of our job unit. As far as the text goes, it is perfect. There is rich vocabulary, but it isn't so wordy that little ones stop listening.However, every single vet in the book is white. There is one black kid on the cover, and after that, it is all white people. I want my black kids to see themselves in books. This one misses the mark.

This series of books are really a great addition to a family, child provider, childcare center or grandparents! The children love the real pictures of everyday life within the subject. The books provide a vast amount of information to discuss and explore with a child.

my grandaughter lovedthe book and shes really impressed withthe book showing the pictures and the different jobs they did.it was very good book telling about the animals and i wouldrecommend it to every one.

My 3 year old wants to be a vet and he loves this book. I did omit one part of a sentence though, on page 4. It says 'like children, dogs need shots to grow up strong and healthy'. I just blacked out the 'like children' part. A very simple book about being a vet and what vets in all fields of veterinarian practice do with lovely real pictures!

A great stocking filler for anyone with a child with an interest, it is excellent quality for the price would recommend it to anyone

I was expecting more content, it was a bit too simple for my 8 year old grand daughter, more of a picture book.

great product, worth the money, highly recommended. would buy again, ideal for children aged 3 up wards. ideal for christmas
