Are these jars BPA free?

This type of glass is not like mason jars, you should not boil them or put really hot items them, they are made for room temp and frig short term storage, bpa are only when dealing with plastics, good glass is not an issue.

what size candle wick would you recommend using

I use a 6" cotton wick. It gives a nice burn for these jars. You always get a nice burn to the whole circumference of the jar. I only learned this through trial and error.
