One of the best toy drones on here
It’s one of the best toy drones on here for the price range. I’m a beginner but I’ve flown over 10 different ones. This one is one of the smoothest drones. The camera is decent, but it IS way zoomed in and slow, and it disconnects all the time due to the short range. The camera itself won’t stay in the position you put it in, it will lower itself and with the way too zoomed in view you’ll see the floor most of the time. It is stubborn as a mule. Other drones you set down put the throttle down and they stop, this one wants to keep going and going. Also when lowering altitude it wants to hold the altitude it wants at times and will go back up. Mine didn’t come with propeller guards but it’s seen it’s share of trees and rocks and concrete and took it like a champ. All these drones advertise a given amount of flight time but they are way way way way short on that. Although this one given the conditions are perfect which will never happen you might get to the advertised time, but regardless it’s the best battery life I’ve seen out of these toy drones. I get it to close to 15 mins on full speed with some breeze every time which is great. It would be cool if it did flips and rolls, but it doesn’t, which is indicative of a more camera-focused drone and that is not the case at all. All toy drones have flaws but this one has lasted me the longest, has the best battery life, it’s the smoothest I’ve flown which is great for beginners, and I would recommend it over any other toy drone in the price range.

Light enough for beginners
Light enough to withstand several crashes without hurting it. Mine hit a brick wall as soon as I got above it the wind took it down. Somersaulted Into the neighbors yatd. Scratched the props a bit but kept on flying I suggest to avoid wind with this drone if your a beginner. Perfect size to zoom around indoors, just a little bigger then my open hand. Flight time is longer then what sis specifiied. My 4rh protensic and still my favorite choice

It doesn't hover in place it can "runaway" on you
I should have read all the reviews before buying, I wouldn't have. It was still winter when I got it so it stayed put up until spring. Took it out read all the instructions and charged it up. Took it outside in a clearing lifted off and immediately started drifting to the left after 30 feet and it hitting a tree I thought I must have missed something in the instructions, reread them, didn't find anything new. Went out and tried again with the same result. Tried 3 more times, was able to actively counter the severe drift with the controller but the second I wasn't forcing it to hover with the joystick tilted to the right it was headed left.4th of July came, we're on the beach, no wind, my son-in-law has his drone flying (a different brand)I decide to try this drone again still figuring I'm messing up somehow. Lots and lots of room to fly here. SIL drone is hovering in place, he doesn't even have to watch it. I lifted mine off and right away it's rapidly drifting to the left. I have my SIL try it and he starts tryto figure out what could be causing it. Now it starts the drifting and won't stop. It's like it's on autopilot and the return button and the landing button aren't working. Now it's crossing the highway and I'm hoping no cars get hit. The last we see of it it's heading inland towards the forest. 10 of us looked for it for over an hour. Now I don't even have the defective drone to return.

Read the reviews before purchasing
I was trying to find a good entry level drone and read some article about this one. After purchasing it, it was difficult to control with the included remote. Could not connect with my iPhone. After failed attempts to fly and maneuver it, I decided to return it. I did get an email from the seller instructing how to connect a smart phone but even that was a little hard to control. By the way, the antennas on the remote are cosmetic and non-functional. Might be good for a beginner or kids but don't expect anything fancy.***UPDATE***After returning the unit I was contacted by customer service to get feedback on why I wasn’t happy with the drone. They offered to send me another unit to try out. After receiving the drone, I tried it out inside but didn't have enough room to fly it around. I took it outdoors in an open area and it took off and veered left. I couldn't control the unit to return as it circled away until it was out of range and fell to the ground. After recovering it a couple of times, the third time it did the same thing and this time it drifted so far out that I completely lost the unit. Sad to say, this drone is a waste of money, even if they sent a free replacement. After emailing customer service, they indicated that this is for more experienced drone operators since it is a non-gps drone. This is a lie. I don't know of any experienced drone operator who would purchase and use this unit with the lack of a home feature, no tracking or beacon, or no fail safe to help retrieve a lost or stray drone.Read the reviews as there are similar experiences like mine by other people. Customer service is responsive but the actual product is less than desirable.

A lot of fun!
This drone was a big hit in our house. It was a step up compared to other smaller drones we owned, it's larger and more "serious" than most other drones in the price range, and took a little getting used to. However, after 15 minutes of practicing, my 9-year-old was controlling it pretty confidently. The battery life is great, and the extra battery that comes in the package is definitely helpful to enjoy it longer. It can take a serious beating - we've played with it for over a month now, it crashed into brick walls, fell on the concrete driveway many times, and still flies just fine.
