Better than other tahini I've tried
I got this tahini because I wanted something a little different to mix into hummus and salad dressings, and it’s been a great pantry staple overall. It’s organic and made from unhulled black sesame seeds, so the flavor is richer and deeper than the regular tahini I had before, and it adds a nice nutty flavor to both sweet and savory dishes. I like how creamy and smooth the texture is, which makes it easy to blend into sauces or even just spread on toast, and the jar feels like it lasts a long time. I did notice that it’s a bit on the thicker side, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Overall I appreciate the bold taste and versatility, and haven't encountered any problems so far.

Love sesame, I love that it's organic. Large jar!
I need to figure out what to do with the rest of it but you can treat it similar to peanut butter. I like that it's organic and I love sesame anything. I bought this because someone in a Facebook Food group shared a homemade banana bread recipe that called for a black sesame tahini swirl in the batter. Not too surprising it tasted similar to peanut butter and bananas. One thing I noted is it's almost like black ink, make sure that you wash off or wipe off everything that it might come in contact with! When I wiped it on a paper towel it looks exactly like black ink. But tasty!

Black tahini is a whole other world!
Prior to trying this organic brand, I never tasted black sesame seed tahini. It is really a whole different taste, texture, and Gustatory experience. First, it is completely smooth from the top to the bottom of the jar. A problem that regular tahini has (even the good quality Lebanese kind) is if it sits on the grocery store shelf for a month or longer, sesame oil pools to the top of the jar and a solid mass of tahini forms at the bottom. Not great. The black tahini also has a more rich texture, toasty and a less dry, chalky taste than regular kind. Though I have yet to make hummus with it, to be honest, just eating tablespoons out of the jar is very satisfying. You can also spread it on multigrain bread and drizzle honey on top for a quick healthy snack. Sure, the price point is a bit high, but the quality is well worth the cost. I’m sure that this smooth texture can form the base of a black tahini, salad dressing mixed with certain spices that will bring out its earthiness.

Nice and strong black sesame smel
I made some bagel and black sesame latte with this! It has a strong smell of black sesame which is exactly what I’m looking for!!

Strong but good flavor
The taste is pretty strong so I recommend starting with a small amount. It can also make some foods look pretty unappetizing but if you can overlook appearance it is fine.

Great taste
Been searching for a good black tahini for a while and this one really delivers. The ingredient list is exactly what it should be, pure with nothing unnecessary, and the taste is clean without any bitterness you sometimes get with sesame. I’ve been using it pretty much everywhere. On toast it’s great, and I recently swirled it through banana bread batter for this dramatic black ribbon effect that looked way more impressive than the effort it took. Highly recommend that move. Also, and I say this with full sincerity, it makes an excellent tiny mustache if you’re looking to entertain the people around you. My family was not as amused as I was but I stand by it ;)

no taste runny like oil.
No taste, runny like oil rather than paste. And a bit gritty. Oh plastic bottle. Ha. What a waste of money and time.

Good product but issue with production/quantity
The one I normally buy is out of stock so I have this one a try. Flavor and consistency are great but this is literally a picture of how little was in the jar when it arrived. I had not even tasted it yet, the knife is just there to help with the visual of how much was missing when I opened it.

Delicious and satisfying
Excellent product! Delicious and very satisfying. My body needs this! I gave "Easy to use" only 2 stars because of having to repackage the tahini out of the pail into smaller containers. I would order smaller containers if they were available, for ease of use and convenience. However, the larger pail does mean a lower unit price. The product is worth the effort and I will buy again.

Pry it open all the way around
The quality of the product is great but the packaging is a bit of a pain. The instructions are so vague, that was no way to figure out what it meant. “Break the opening”… how, where, what? I actually pulled my muscle when I first tried to force the lid open. Then, I went to see the comments and in one of the comments it says pry it open, only then I was able to do open it. So, here’s what you need to do: use a screwdriver or a blunt knife, pry the lid open. Do it all the way around the lid, and then you’ll be able to open it with your fingers.

Health
It's messy to work with. The container is a pain to open. I made Tahini bread 🥪 twice and both times it turned out great .The bread is very easy to make only a cup of Tahini, 4 eggs and a half tsp of baking soda in a parchment lined bread 🥪 pan for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F. It's more like a loaf of whatever not bread because it doesn't toast but with butter or any other spread that you care to use It's a really nice eat that pairs very well with your digestive track.

Hard to open the lid!
The products looks good. But I hurt myself when I try to open it using screwdriver. It’s so hard to open!

Perfect tahinia at a great price
The instructions to open the lid are right ON the lid. You break the seal all around the rim at the weak points and you pry it open with your fingers. Took me 30 seconds.
