I've started carrying this as my go-to everyday knife around the farm. The silver tip is not sharp but is useful for prying small things apart and using as a screwdriver. I got it for tree grafting - works well for that, also. Update ** it's be a couple years and I'm still using this knife almost every day. The silver tip is perfect for opening packages without the risk of cutting or scratching the items inside. The knives cut through feed bags and twine easily. I have arthritis and nerve issues related to military service. As a lady farmer, anything that makes things easier on my hands is appreciated and this knife has definitely saved me a lot of pain and damage from not having to rip and pry things apart. I'm buying a second one because my husband has started to use it to open packages and he is very talented at losing things. In case my favorite knife gets misplaced, I want a spare. I plan to graft some nice things onto some icky wild pear trees that have shown up on the farm. They are invasive in the southwest of the U.S., they have small hard fruit and the blossoms smell like fish. But the roots are thriving and they can support good pears and apples. It's amazing how much use I've gotten out of this inexpensive knife.

The knife has a few flaws but don’t let that stop you from purchasing it, with a little attention you can make it a solid decent knife. Remember this is not a $300 knife but $8 so don’t get to nit picky. I myself made some adjustments to the pins by tapping them with a small hammer against my vice so to round them a little more to be comfortable while in you hand, sharpened the blades, polished the bark lifting blade and now I’m satisfied with my purchase.

The knife itself is... Meh. The blades are ok, but not very sharp, I see how over time they will begin to wobble. BUT. It is the only budget knife on Prime (as of now), that has a very good bark lifter. After the first graft I realized how much I needed it all along. Great purchase, recommend to all grafters.
