Zodiac Academy 7: Heartless Sky Paperback – 15 Dec. 2021

The story at this point is so intense that it's pretty much impossible to put down.Epic!However, I felt that there was too much sexual filler that detracted from the impact of the connections. Maybe more variety in the expression of the love stories.But I'm fully invested in this series now, so I guess, so obviously still successful. Two thumbs up! Thanks for the hard work that has gone into this series.

I am so glad I holed myself in my flat while I read this book. I went through so many emotions, I have sobbed tears of joy and sadness, I have felt so much anger at points of reading and then I was left utterly broken by this ending. I never saw this coming, and I feel like a part of my soul has been left with this book.We know the twisted sisters love a cliffhanger but this one was something else!This book gave us so much. We had action at every turn, friendships being formed and strengthened, and relationships being put to the test.I loved to see other characters from the Solaria worlds joining in this series and how they worked together! Also adding POV chapters from Lionel was perfection!I wanted to try and drag this book out but I couldn’t, I needed to know more and more. I needed the curse to be revealed, I needed to know what would happen to Darius, and I needed to know what would come of the prophecy. I think all our questions were answered but now we have a boatload more we need to know. Please please don’t make us wait much longer for the 3rd book.

The second I picked this book up I knew that it was going to be perfection. I also knew that it was going to come complete with a brutal ending.This is told from multiple points of view, giving you a very full and detailed picture of what’s happening, not only with the main characters but also within the side character relationships.Some of this may not have felt necessary but then with these authors I’ll wait until the final book to know whether it was all filler.Solaria is my favourite PNR world to be lost in, the world that’s been created is phenomenal and addictive. I quickly fell in love with some people in the first books but as the characters have developed I’m more in love with them now, I’m even starting to believe that some of the ones I strongly disliked in the earlier books, maybe deserve a happily ever after, maybe.At the end of Fated Thrown I can honestly say that I wasn’t sure if these characters could be put through any more trials and traumas. Well, the answer is yes, they can. This book starts you off smoothly, you catch up with all of your favourites who survived the battle, we see relationships and friendships develop, plans are made, futures are foretold and then just as you believe that maybe this could be the calm before the end these authors decide to add some chaos and brutality to their plans. And there is definitely a storm brewing. The ending is probably the worst cliffhanger of the series and I wasn’t sure book four would ever have competition for that crown. I’m going to sob silently into kindle hoping that more words magically appear and I don’t have to wait.

I love these books, they had me hooked from day one and in all honesty I’ve never devoured a series quite the way I’ve devoured these…Be warned. This book will hurt you. Sure, you’ll kick your feet like a little girl, fan yourself like a southern lady in church over the spice, and guffaw like a dad who made a terrible joke. But this one hurt me. Like really, deep down, gutted me.You’ve been warned5 stars.I hate it.

Why o why would you end it like that. The emotional roller coaster I have been through with this book. I loved it and hate the fact it ended like that but lucky I'm going to read the next book right now 😊😭

These books have become very tiresome, which is a shame, as I couldn't put the first 3 books down, I love the characters, and it has a great story idea... but honestly, enough is enough, I haven't finished 7, I skipped 8, read the end on 9, and the author is still not finished. This could have been great, but it just feels to me like the author is just trying to push more books out than come to a conclusion, which I'd say Tory and Darcy deserved their happy ending. Unfortunately, I'm done now with this series.

The ending of the last book started the rebellion. This book had one of the best unions but also the greatest loss I have ever read in a book. I've been on a Caroline & Susanne (We'll call them the Twisted Sisters, TS for short) binge for about two months now. I have read the entirety of Zodiac Academy, Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac, and the Harlequin Crew.This is BY FAR my favorite of them all. Let's get into it. SOME MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD-NOTHING MAJOR TO THE STORY.......It was the best times, and it was the worst times. And I am a glutton for punishment.SO many amazing moments happened among the Vega Twins and the Heirs. The bond they have all developed over the last 7 books is so beautiful. The character crossovers from Ruthless Boys were some of my favorite moments. If you haven't read RB I highly suggest taking the time to read it before reading Heartless Sky, if you can wait that long. Seth and Caleb have my whole heart but they need to JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER. Tory and Darius went through so much and I hope they get the chance to be together in the end of it all. They deserve it so much. Lance and Darcy's relationship grew so beautifully as well, but Lance at the end was a stupid, careless, individual who says he will do anything to protect Darcy, then intentionally puts himself in danger, knowing she would HATE IT. UGH. On to the next..Geraldine is the most loyal and supportive friend and the Twins deserve more of those. Her theatrics can be a little *much* at times but I know that's the point and I love it. I hope she can swallow some pride and realize her mother would want her to be happy even if it meant breaking her word. Getting to know more about Xavier was also one of my favorite parts of the whole series. He is seriously so sweet and funny and his timing is always so poor, it's hilarious. One of my favorite scenes in the whole book was when Lionel was humiliated on national television thanks to Dante and the rest of the RB harem. That was PURE GOLD.Enough about the characters, onto the plot (no spoilers)...When I say I'm a glutton for punishment, I mean it. and the TS really know how to deliver. If you want to laugh your head off, soothe your soul, scream into the void, cry like a blubbering baby, and blush like a schoolgirl, this book is for you. Buyer beware, the cliffhanger is HARD to get through. There is hope for a bright ending, but the path to get there will make you question your sanity.I love you, Caroline and Susanne. You've made it to the top of my favorite authors list and I cannot wait to read every single book you've even written and will write.
