My 6 yr old asked for this set for Xmas. She is super building her other sets, but I'm concerned whether this is too complex. Are directions clear?

If she can complete the regular modular sets, she shouldn't have a big problem with the 10244. A plus point for this set is that it is quite "play"ible, with quite a no. of minifigs & the entire set can be packed up, like a real fairground circus in town.
