So cold and heavy
This is the perfect ice pack!! I have 3 bulging discs and spinal stenosis in my lumbar region. It has aggregated my entire right sciatic nerve. I spend my days in bed and when my piriformis muscle is too tight to deal with (a chronic lifelong issue) I need to rotate cold and hot regularly. The small lunch box packs were just not working. This has solved so many issues. It freezes nicely and is just the right size and weight for my hip and lower back. I highly recommend it for not only the pad but the price!!

Life saver
This has been a lifesaver for me in post hip replacement surgery. I actually ordered an ice pack designed for hip injuries and this one. I like this one better because it’s larger and can cover both the back and the side of the hip where all the swelling is. The straps are detachable so you don’t have to use them if you don’t want to. The ice pack chills up quickly, which is good because the first week after surgery I was using ice quite frequently.
