Great educational series of books. Kids will love them. Worth every penny...

My eight year old granddaughter, and her fellow second graders, love this series of books on serious subjects. The cartoon-like figures and light-hearted descriptions catch their attention and stimulate their interest in learning more about dinosaurs, as well as the solar system, biology, the Periodic Table and numerous other subjects.

This is a great series of non-fiction books perfect for grades 1 - 4. The chapters are relatively short and easy to read and the books are organized neatly. My son is really into this series and it is always a huge hit at the school book fair.

I love the Basher books but I'm a little disappointed with this one. I can't really put my finger on why, but I just haven't enjoyed this one near as much as say, the Planets one or the US Presidents.

Simply put: I love these Basher books. This one was a specific book that my 5 year old bought with her own money. She wants to be a paleontologist, so this was right up her alley. Yay for Basher books. Kudos from this homeschooling mom.

Great pictures. Fun to look at for a younger child, but filled with details for an older child. Love this series of books.

I fell into an abyss of fear for science when I was a kid. If I had have a book like this one, it would have been different.Each single illustration is well-written.
