Heartland Products Harley Davidson TC96 103 110 Newer Inner Cam Bearing Installer & Puller for Dyna & Twin Cam

It worked very well for pulling the cam bearings out of my 2013 96'' Harley Dyna. It comes with no instructions, but I feel like if you can't figure out how to use it, you shouldn't be using it by yourself. The only thing I'd recommend is making a mark on the dowel on the bench. Assemble the puller on the bench and fully seat the dowel in the puller, put a mark on the dowel so when you're fiddling with getting it all on the bike, you know how far you need to hammer the dowel. I just marked mine with a paint pen. Very, very useful tool. I love it.

If you are replacing cams on a Harley, it's a must to replace the bearings with torrington style bearings (all rollers, no spacers). I can't imagine why one would pay more for these tools elsewhere, since this set did the job great. I could probably resell this tool set for 80-90% of list price, but I think I'll hang on to it to help buddies with their cam work.Several reviews seem to have downgraded the rating because they bought the wrong version. Be sure to read the description so that you are getting the right product for your year and model of bike.

Works Great, great price. I emailed Heartland tools and they sent me the instructions... very quick very responsive. The tools worked exactly as they instructed and I'm very happy with the result. you can't go wrong with this if you want to change out your cam bearing. I used this on my 2016 Road Glide Ultra and worked perfectly. Both removing and installing cam bearings.

Heartland is a go to company for specialty tools. I just received this inner cam bearing set today and it works every bit as well as my old bosses set that cost substantially more. People complain that they don't include instructions, but if it isn't completely obvious to you how it works, you probably shouldn't be doing work to your engine that would destroy it if done improperly. These are very well built American made tools and I will be buying more.

This tool is a must if you are doing any Cam change or any work in the cam chest of a twin cam engine. You get both the removal tool as well as the install tool for less than the cost of one of them separately. It is exactly the same tool as its higher priced name brand counterparts. It just doesn't have the big name brand printed on it. Why pay double or triple the cost just to have the a logo on the tool, because that is all you will be paying extra for.

instructions would have been nice. Finally found a video on YouTube that showed you have to lightly hammer in the removal tool in order to get the bearings out. I would have never tried that otherwise without finding that video. Heartlands website is useless. You can't even download the instructions. You have to email them and wait for them to send you the PDF.

I PURSHASED ONE SET WHEN I RECEIVED IT THEY ONLY SHIPED THE INSTALLER AND NOT THE PULLER . WE CONTACTED THEM AND THEY BASICLY CALLED US A LYER THAT IT WAS ALL SENT .SO INSTEAD OF ARGUING AND WASTING MORE OF MY TIME WE HAD TO ORDER ANOTER ONE . THIS ONE CAME WITH BOTH TOOLS LIKE THEY OFFERED . SO NOW I HAVE TWO INSTALLERS AND ONE PULLER. I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE JOB DIDNT HAVE TIME TO ARGUE WITH THEM .TOOLS ARE EXCELLENT SERVICE NOT SO GOOD .

I am a black patch Harley Davidson Tech. Most of my tools are top of the line. I was not real sure about this product but for the price I gave it a try. It worked as good as the Jim's tools I already own. Hope to see this company stay with the changing HD market. As for one review I read about the product he/she ordered was for 06 and earlier should have read more carefully or new what they needed. This company offered both tools for 88" and 96".
