Nice looking, but no sound. Now functioning perfectly. - This is a revision to my original review of these headphones. I sent back the 'defective' headphones to EasyAcc and they very kindly contacted me and offered to send another pair free of charge since I had already received my refund. I discovered something very important with this second set. There appears to be a driver conflict with these phones and the W10/64 audio drivers on my machine. I plugged in the second set and exactly the same thing happened as the first (no audio). Since it was highly unlikely that the second set were defective I looked for another solution. I plugged in an old school PCI to USB 2.0 expansion card into my PC. This meant that W10 wasn't using the audio device drivers associated with the motherboard but rather used the drivers associated with the drivers from EasyAcc. Now the G1 headphones work perfectly on my system. I used them to play Elite Dangerous all night and they sound fantastic. The machine I am using is a Lenovo E20 Workstation. It appears to be a fairly normal PC but maybe its getting a bit long in the tooth. It was originally designed for W7 and I've upgraded it to W10 and maybe that's where the issue lies. I suspect in a current machine the problem may not manifest itself. One thing I can say is the distributor EasyAcc is a standup company that seems to really want to get behind their products. I have to give them 5 stars because the G1 headphones are now working perfectly and they do appear to be extremely well made. I can heartily recommend the subsonic rumble feature if you play any kind of sim. [the old Review] Unfortunately this apparently well built gaming headset had one glaring flaw. No sound either in or out. It lit up very prettily but no sound at all. I plugged it in and tried it and no sound, so I installed the driver and rebooted. No sound. So I uninstalled the driver and rebooted then downloaded the driver off the website and rebooted and......no sound. And yes, I know how to use a volume control. W10 recognized the device but no sound. It's going back. Review: Amazing sound quality, very cool look! - As a gamer who lives alone, I never really wanted to bother with headsets. Why would I need to, when I can just use my speakers without bothering anyone? But I wanted to try voice chatting, and for that I needed a mic. It's a lot easier to get a mic with a headset than without. Little did I realize how much better game sounds could be with a quality headset! It's so cool, it's like I opened up a whole new aspect of my games! The sounds through are simply outstanding with these. I'm used to earbuds, so I was worried this headset would be heavy and hot, but they're not. They're lightweight and the cushions are so soft I kept forgetting I was wearing them. I really love the style of them. The red glow on the sides is so striking, and the tip of the mic glows red when it's on, so you won't forget and broadcast something you don't want to. Very cool and useful headsets!

Good sound, too big for me
These headphones work well. The sound is good. Not fantastic, but good. The headphones do well with low sound, like bass. But they're a bit cloudy on the mid and high tones. I like the cool lights on the sides. I haven't used the mic yet. I wish they plugged in with a regular headphone jack so I could use them for other things than computer gaming. The USB plug limits that. I guess I could get an adaptor? My only real complaint is that they're very large on me. They have a flexible strap to adjust them to different sizes of heads. Being a small female, that strap sits way below the top of the headband, leaving a big gap in between. They look a bit ridiculous on. But for people larger than me, this is probably a good selling point they will fit much larger heads than most headphones I'm used to. and the harde plastic part won't touch, only the flexible band.

Really solid headset!
This is a great headset. I will admit, I am not an avid gamer or anything, but I use this for other audio and video call needs and it works great! The sound quality is great as far as listening goes. The mic quality is what you would expect from $35 (not a bad things, just not the same as a $150 set for sure). They are comfortable as well. The ear cups are soft and the band that goes over your head is nice as well. The cups also block out a lot of exterior noise, which makes the audio sound great as well. It connects via USB, so it is for your computer only. It has a nice little control midway through the wire to control volume and such. If you are looking for a solid headset for $35, I could definitely recommend this one.

Good gaming mic for the price!
This is the first gaming mic/headphone set I have had. That being said I think they are quite good. The sound quality is excellent and has a pretty surprising amount of bass for headphones. The mic is calibrated well, so it only picks up what I want it to. I have tried three other mics here and they all had feedback and/or picked up traffic outside my window, etc. This one is clean, and when my hubby tried it, he doesn't have to repeat himself - which is impressive because he mumbles a lot! It seems to be built pretty well. The pressure strings on the head rest could be a weak point but time will tell. The USB wire is solid and connects well though. All in all, I think this product is recommendable. Hope this helps!

Exactly what I was looking for
I bought this headset to take Skype calls at work. The headset that the company provided was completely unwearable – it wouldn't stay on my head, and I couldn't hear anything. As an alternative, I was using earbuds and the microphone on my laptop, which was not ideal, because the laptop mic would pick up ambient noises. This headset is very well made and very comfortable. Since I have a smaller head, I was worried that it wouldn't stay on, but it has an adjustable headband, so it fits perfectly. I also like that it has built-in controls, so I can easily adjust the volume and more importantly, mute myself. The sound quality is great – I've been using it to listen to music, and it's a real step up from the earbuds.
