I love the strawberry and cream. I have it for breakfast as soon as I get to work. Although I downloaded a barcode app. According to the barcode, this has 27 g of carbs. I'm not sure who to trust.

First off, excellent crispy/creamy texture, good mouth feel, and a pleasant fresh strawberry flavor. Not overly sweet. Could probably stand a touch more vanilla flavoring, but not a deal breaker to me. More importantly to me, this bar handles my hunger for 3 to 4 hours without crashing my blood sugar levels. If I eat refined carbs in the morning, I experience rapid blood sugar spikes and crashes (lows) and that isn't good. These bars are an excellent substitute for muffins or toast or whatever you normally munch on in the morning. I have this with a cup of coffee and unsweetened French vanilla creamer for a very satisfying and long-lasting breakfast. It's also good, alternatively, as a late afternoon snack. Plenty of protein, some fat, and very little sugar. It's not exactly a whole food, but it's a definite improvement over Pop Tarts!

I love these Power Crunch protein bars - this is what I keep in the house in case I want something sweet at night while I'm watching movies, etc.. I feel much better about having one of these instead of full-on candy. I try to consume as little sugar as possible. But, I digress... I love the Chocolate Mint, Vanilla, and Triple Chocolate. I know that any berry flavor takes a lot of work to get just right. If the company 'overdoes it,' you can end up with something that tastes like bad cough syrup. I do understand. However, it seems this time the choice was made to 'walk past the mixing vat with a strawberry.' They are pink; I do give them that. And, it isn't like they are 'bad,' either. They're just not great. The flavor is remarkably underwhelming. Will I eat the entire box? Yes, I will. Will I order them again? Probably not. If you're OK with a bar that has a 'hint of strawberry,' you'll be fine with these. Again, they're OK. But, knowing that some of the flavors are great, I will opt to order those, instead. As with all the Power Crunch bars, it is the crispy wafer texture that keeps us all addicted! In that regard, these are no different.
