Great Value — Works Just Like the OEM Part
I was a little nervous about this one since it’s so much cheaper than the OEM part, but it’s been working great in my Speed Queen. I’ve had it installed for over a month now with zero issues. Even if it ever goes out, I’m not worried—I could buy three of these for the price of one OEM replacement. Definitely a great value and a solid alternative!

Relatively easy to install. Good quality, operates great.
Wasn't sure which switch/sensor was faulty after dryer failed to heat up. Connectors on old element were questionable. This unit solved my problem and we are back in business drying up a storm.

Fix that speed queen!
Exactly what I needed to fix our speed queen dryer. The old element had popped, so the dryer was producing no heat. I won't say it's an easy replacement, but you only have to take the bottom front panel off (at least in my case). Watch a YouTube video if you're unsure what you're doing. Much nicer than calling the repair guy.

You don’t want this one!!!
Bought this in August 2025 and it’s dead already, December 2025. And the return window closed in September. I guess they know it won’t last long since they have this window. Quite frustrating to have to do this again!!!!!

Works Properly - But Clean the Dryer Vent Tubing Before Using
I think the Speed Queen Dryer design could be improved for better filtering BEFORE the incoming air reaches the heater, but that's a separate issue. The OEM element lasted about 5-6 years before burning out due to large amounts of lint inside the body. Dryer cleaned thoroughly, and new element installed. The first replacement (ordered here) burnt out just three months later, again due to lint inside the body reaching the element. Investigation revealed that the first 6-8 feet of the exhaust tubing was stuffed full of years' worth of lint (we've lived here only 2). I'd advise that before installing this part and running the dryer, clean the dryer. Then get a good brush (about $20-25.00 at a chain hardware store) and really clean out the entire vent length, use your shop vac and don't leave anything behind. I suspect that my lint problem will disappear, and the second replacement will last much longer. Learn from me, don't be me....
