Hario V60 Immersion Dripper 03, Size, Clear

I love this product. The switch works really well and opens up so many opportunities to explore different ways of brewing coffee. The glass is of high quality and the rubber part does protect the hand from the heat. For smaller brews: 10-16 g of coffee or 200-250 mL of water, I still use the Hario V2 (80% of the time) or the Muji dripper (20%). I find that because the V3 has a larger height, the water from the kettle starts going turbulent when it hits the surface of the bed. It's not a huge difference, but I still prefer the smaller v2 version. For larger brews, 20+ g of coffee or 300+ mL, this is my go-to (95+% of the time). I've tried different drippers, but this is definitely the sweet spot, giving me the opportunity to use immersion, percolation, and a hybrid between the two. Definitely no regrets in purchasing; I highly recommend it.

The glass material is nicer than the clever drippers plastic materials. I bought this because the little feet and lid both broke on my clever dripper. I loved it but this is a great replacement. I love the switch and experimenting with different recipes that mix immersion and drip filter.

Als Geschenk für meine Frau gekauft und sie liebt es. Die Espressomaschine steht seitdem in der Ecke, leicht beleidigt. Das Prinzip ist denkbar einfach: Schalter zu, heißes Wasser und Kaffeemehl rein, 2 Minuten warten, Schalter auf. Der Kaffee läuft durch den Papierfilter in die Tasse, ohne Kaffeesatz, ohne kompliziertes Schwenken beim Aufgießen. Ergebnis ist klar und aromatisch, deutlich besser als ich erwartet hatte. Die Größe 03 fasst in der Praxis locker 400 ml, ideal für 1 bis 2 große Tassen. Wir kaufen die passenden Hario V60-03 Papierfilter dazu, die gibt es problemlos überall. Das Glas ist hitzebeständig und fühlt sich wertig an. Der Schalter selbst ist Plastik und macht nicht den robustesten Eindruck, funktioniert aber tadellos. Man greift halt etwas vorsichtiger dran als an den Rest. Reinigung ist kein Thema: Filter raus, kurz ausspülen, fertig. Für alle die guten Kaffee wollen ohne große Technik darum, klare Empfehlung.
