Sleek looking!
I've recently started using a slim bumper case for my phone, and I couldn't be happier with it. The case looks incredibly sleek and stylish, enhancing the overall appearance of my iPhone. Despite its slim profile, it feels very secure and provides excellent protection against drops and scratches from the raised corners. The material is durable and has a nice grip, making it comfortable to hold. Plus, it fits perfectly without adding any bulk to the phone. Overall, this slim bumper case is a perfect blend of aesthetics and functionality. Highly recommended!

Slim case
Scratches easily but it is nice and slim like I wanted. I have dropped it a few times and surprisingly my phone is still fine.

Cannot recommend
This case fits well and looks great. With the raised corners it sits flat on a table. I like it but I cannot recommend. The silent switch is impossible to use with this case. I would literally have to cut a notch into my finger nail to use it. For that reason I have to return it.

Good Case, Not For Your Typical User
First off, this case is for minimalists! It doesn’t offer the best protection, but that is not why minimalists buy something like this. I know, something like this shouldn’t have to be said, but I find so many reviews where someone has purchased a slim, minimal protection case and they start complaining that it barely offers protection or that it’s too thin, or some other common trait with minimal cases. This almost provides a “naked” feel to your phone! The things that might take that feeling away are the corners on the back (as you might feel them when holding the device, which could give away the illusion/immersion(?) of using a caseless phone. The raised bezel on the back might also give that away, but it is really not as bad as other bumper style cases, like the more popular RhinoShield bumper cases. That’s not a shot at RhinoShield, that’s just how they do things and it probably offers greater shock protection than this case. But again, that is NOT why you buy a case like this.Things I like about this bumper case:It’s metal with a rubber or silicone layer for shock absorption and a bit of drop protection. The metal [almost] gives you the feel of the metal frame on the iPhone. This varies between iPhones. If you have Apple’s Pro models, it WILL feel differently. If you have their normal models, you should feel at home. The reason being, this case’s metal frame has a matte/satin finish. So if you have a Pro model, you would be accustomed to a polished finished, which offers more grip. If you have their normal model iPhones, you would be accustomed to a matte/satin finish on the frame, which this case would feel like normal and you really wouldn’t need any adjustment time to feel like you’re caseless. The raised corners on the back are high enough to keep your camera lenses off of a flat surface. And this is key to knowing what you’re getting into with a bumper case. If you drop your device on a *flat* surface, you should feel confident that nothing will get damaged, and this case does give me that. But just know, if you drop it on an uneven surface, where the middle of the phone makes contact with that higher level surface, you can be sure that you more than likely cracked the rear glass. This can happen on something like a gravel path, rocks, etc. It doesn’t feel like it would plop right out the case if you do drop your phone. Feels quite snug and formed to the phone. See pics for how much lift the raised corners provide. Just enough space to keep the camera lenses off of a flat surface. Plenty of space to keep the back of the phone off of surfaces.I like adding kickstands to my devices, and I highly recommend the kickstand from ESR! I usually am a Spigen guy, but their kickstand relies on magnets to remain closed. And if that magnet happens to fall out (which has happened to me and a few others who reviewed the product), the kickstand will remain open, as they rely on a type of spring mechanic to remain open, whereas ESR’s kickstand uses tension to stay open. This case’s rear corners give enough room to add something like a kickstand and it can still lay completely flat on a table, without having it lay uneven or to not have that rocking effect if you press down on one of the corners of your device. So that is a huge plus for mer, personally. If you like kickstands, you’ll probably feel the same way. But there is a bit of an asterisk when it comes to kickstands and Apple’s Pro model iPhones. I don’t want to get too off track, so if you have a Pro model and want a kickstand, find my review for ESR’s kickstand.I also like adding a skin to my devices. Most full coverage cases have super tight tolerances, so if you add a skin to the back of your phone, you may realize that the case doesn’t fit as nice as it used to and as it should. That’s just due to the slight thickness of the skin and the tolerances of majority of phone cases. With a bumper case, you really don’t have to worry about that, as the back of the phone is exposed. So if you like to customize the look of your phone with a skin, you won’t need to worry if it will affect the fitment of this bumper case.Things I don’t like:The buttons. They are far from the worst from some other cases, but they aren’t that great either. They don’t wiggle/feel loose or anything like that, which is good. It’s just that they are slightly spongey feeling. This is because this case has pieces of a foam material that sits between the case’s buttons and the phone’s buttons. So when you press any of the buttons, it has a slight give to it before the actual buttons on the phone actuates. It’s not that big of an issue, but if you’re someone who likes that tactile feel, it will be a bit numb, at least until the foam material fully compresses and then you get that “click” or tactile press at the very end. See pics I provided to see what I’m talking about. It might be hard to tell what they are, just from the pictures, but it is foam and you can squish it from the inside of the case.Another con, the metal frame. Because it is a matte/satin finish, it doesn’t offer the best grip to your fingers when picking up from a flat surface, mainly when face down. Once it’s in your hand though, it’s fine. That is pretty much it for pros and cons. One thing I will note is, on some reviews of this case from this seller and other sellers, people complained about the bottom charging port portion of this case. It’s just that rubber/silicone material. It’s built like that to provide the case some give to it so you can apply the case and remove the case to your phone. It can become a weak point if you are not careful or improperly remove and insert your phone in/out of the case. My recommendation, remove/insert the top corners of the phone FIRST, gently. And then remove the entire phone/wiggle in the bottom corners evenly LAST. Do NOT fully seat one of the bottom corners first and then try to snap in the other bottom corner. This will surely put too much stress on that silicone charge port and it can lose its shape and become slightly deformed. This should keep you from stretching out the charge port opening too much.Overall, it’s a VERY decent case for minimalists. I don’t like the look and feel of the rear corners, but that is something I’m willing to put up with for a slim and metal case, that can also lay completely flat on a desk or table without rocking. Again, this case isn’t for everyone and it’s kind of a niche option for minimalists.

Well-designed and engineered!
I'm all about slim-fitting bumper cases since I like my phones svelte—and without added screen or lens protectors. However, the product photos here don't do justice. A slim case I had on my previous iPhone 12 Pro was merely a metal frame with minimal rubber protection between it and the phone; and while it was nice to hold it probably wouldn't have provided much protection if dropped on a hard surface over 3 feet high. This one on the other hand has a well-engineered embedded inner rubber lining that should do the job without sacrificing the slim-factor.Re: the product photos, I wasn't sure if I'd like the slightly raised corners (i.e. 4 stubby "feet" to protect the lenses) but they're actually quite brilliant since they not only prevent potential damage to the camera lenses (iPhone 13/14 Pro cameras protrude out the back quite substantially) but they also prevent a wobbly phone when placed on a flat surface. Also, other reviewers mentioned that the case makes the phone very slippery that makes one wonder if they're coated in Teflon, but it's no more slippery than the edges of a bare iPhone. I would argue that the slightly raised rubber lining (both front and back) helps minimize slippage.

Just doesn’t stay on…
For the first few days it was great! A nice, clean minimalist case. Got loads of compliments and it made the phone fun to hold again. Then the phone started slipping out of the bottom left corner.Phone coming out of the pocket? Need to pop that corner back into the case. Picked it up from my desk? Pop in that corner. Randomly while holding it during regular use? You guessed it.I haven’t dropped it or bent it. I haven’t been rough with it. But it just doesn’t like to hold my phone. If I still had the box I’d return it.

The green one is beautiful
I bought the green bumper somewhat reluctantly. It was the only green bumper for the 13 pro that I could find but looked weirdly bright in the pictures. The item was delivered very quickly and was an absolutely pleasant surprise. The actual case is a much deeper, darker tone that pairs perfectly with the green 13 pro. It fits perfectly, was simple to put on, and has a very premium feel with a matte, brushed metal finish. I have not noticed any difference in call quality with the bumper on and the raised corners keep the camera lenses off the surface you set it on. There is also a very slight lip on the screen side that is just enough to keep the screen off a smooth surface when you set it down. That being said, any bumper offers very minimal protection and is not a good option if you are at all prone to dropping things.

Fantastic, minimalist case
I was looking for a bumper case that would let me feel like I was holding a caseless phone, and this is it! Metal construction and bumper design is beautiful. Rubber lining protects the phone. I've dropped the phone a couple of times from standing height and no issues!Best phone case I've ever bought!!!

Love this bumper case!
I’ve been using this style bumper case for years now with multiple iPhones. I drop my phone a lot and it’s never had a cracked screen while wearing this case. It’s also very sleek and stylish and it almost looks like it’s a part of the phone itself. Fits great and actually protects phone very well. I would definitely recommend. Just wish it had the green one available for the iPhone 13 mini. All in all a great case

Impressed
Just got it yesterday. Use it for the first time today like it very much. I wish I discovered this type of case when I first got my phone I would’ve gotten it right away so we’ll see how it goes over the next few weeks but so far so good.
