Good Case, Not For Your Typical User
First off, this case is for minimalists! It doesn’t offer the best protection, but that is not why minimalists buy something like this. I know, something like this shouldn’t have to be said, but I find so many reviews where someone has purchased a slim, minimal protection case and they start complaining that it barely offers protection or that it’s too thin, or some other common trait with minimal cases. This almost provides a “naked” feel to your phone! The things that might take that feeling away are the corners on the back (as you might feel them when holding the device, which could give away the illusion/immersion(?) of using a caseless phone. The raised bezel on the back might also give that away, but it is really not as bad as other bumper style cases, like the more popular RhinoShield bumper cases. That’s not a shot at RhinoShield, that’s just how they do things and it probably offers greater shock protection than this case. But again, that is NOT why you buy a case like this.Things I like about this bumper case:It’s metal with a rubber or silicone layer for shock absorption and a bit of drop protection. The metal [almost] gives you the feel of the metal frame on the iPhone. This varies between iPhones. If you have Apple’s Pro models, it WILL feel differently. If you have their normal models, you should feel at home. The reason being, this case’s metal frame has a matte/satin finish. So if you have a Pro model, you would be accustomed to a polished finished, which offers more grip. If you have their normal model iPhones, you would be accustomed to a matte/satin finish on the frame, which this case would feel like normal and you really wouldn’t need any adjustment time to feel like you’re caseless. The raised corners on the back are high enough to keep your camera lenses off of a flat surface. And this is key to knowing what you’re getting into with a bumper case. If you drop your device on a *flat* surface, you should feel confident that nothing will get damaged, and this case does give me that. But just know, if you drop it on an uneven surface, where the middle of the phone makes contact with that higher level surface, you can be sure that you more than likely cracked the rear glass. This can happen on something like a gravel path, rocks, etc. It doesn’t feel like it would plop right out the case if you do drop your phone. Feels quite snug and formed to the phone. See pics for how much lift the raised corners provide. Just enough space to keep the camera lenses off of a flat surface. Plenty of space to keep the back of the phone off of surfaces.I like adding kickstands to my devices, and I highly recommend the kickstand from ESR! I usually am a Spigen guy, but their kickstand relies on magnets to remain closed. And if that magnet happens to fall out (which has happened to me and a few others who reviewed the product), the kickstand will remain open, as they rely on a type of spring mechanic to remain open, whereas ESR’s kickstand uses tension to stay open. This case’s rear corners give enough room to add something like a kickstand and it can still lay completely flat on a table, without having it lay uneven or to not have that rocking effect if you press down on one of the corners of your device. So that is a huge plus for mer, personally. If you like kickstands, you’ll probably feel the same way. But there is a bit of an asterisk when it comes to kickstands and Apple’s Pro model iPhones. I don’t want to get too off track, so if you have a Pro model and want a kickstand, find my review for ESR’s kickstand.I also like adding a skin to my devices. Most full coverage cases have super tight tolerances, so if you add a skin to the back of your phone, you may realize that the case doesn’t fit as nice as it used to and as it should. That’s just due to the slight thickness of the skin and the tolerances of majority of phone cases. With a bumper case, you really don’t have to worry about that, as the back of the phone is exposed. So if you like to customize the look of your phone with a skin, you won’t need to worry if it will affect the fitment of this bumper case.Things I don’t like:The buttons. They are far from the worst from some other cases, but they aren’t that great either. They don’t wiggle/feel loose or anything like that, which is good. It’s just that they are slightly spongey feeling. This is because this case has pieces of a foam material that sits between the case’s buttons and the phone’s buttons. So when you press any of the buttons, it has a slight give to it before the actual buttons on the phone actuates. It’s not that big of an issue, but if you’re someone who likes that tactile feel, it will be a bit numb, at least until the foam material fully compresses and then you get that “click” or tactile press at the very end. See pics I provided to see what I’m talking about. It might be hard to tell what they are, just from the pictures, but it is foam and you can squish it from the inside of the case.Another con, the metal frame. Because it is a matte/satin finish, it doesn’t offer the best grip to your fingers when picking up from a flat surface, mainly when face down. Once it’s in your hand though, it’s fine. That is pretty much it for pros and cons. One thing I will note is, on some reviews of this case from this seller and other sellers, people complained about the bottom charging port portion of this case. It’s just that rubber/silicone material. It’s built like that to provide the case some give to it so you can apply the case and remove the case to your phone. It can become a weak point if you are not careful or improperly remove and insert your phone in/out of the case. My recommendation, remove/insert the top corners of the phone FIRST, gently. And then remove the entire phone/wiggle in the bottom corners evenly LAST. Do NOT fully seat one of the bottom corners first and then try to snap in the other bottom corner. This will surely put too much stress on that silicone charge port and it can lose its shape and become slightly deformed. This should keep you from stretching out the charge port opening too much.Overall, it’s a VERY decent case for minimalists. I don’t like the look and feel of the rear corners, but that is something I’m willing to put up with for a slim and metal case, that can also lay completely flat on a desk or table without rocking. Again, this case isn’t for everyone and it’s kind of a niche option for minimalists.

Slip n slide
Pros: I have the red iPhone mini 13, the red bumper matched up perfectly. It’s very sturdy and durable as well as minimalist.Cons: the case is very slippery, the reason I got the iPhone 13 mini is because I have small hands. This bumper does add width and made it difficult for me to operate with one hand. The bumper doesn’t provide any protection for the screen. The side of the bumper doesn’t provide any lip for the screen, almost like it’s to small. The camera is protected due to the raised edges.Overall: the case does what its supposed to do and protects the frame of your phone. Due to the bumper being so slippery I dropped my phone chest height on concrete. The bumper dented and became defective but my phone didn’t have a scratch. If you go with this case make sure you get a screen protector and possibly one for the back of the phone as well to prevent scratches.

Excellent protection
This is the second one of these I’ve had. I found a drop this phone 50 times a little corner. Flaps in the back are great otherwise, you’re barely know you have a protective case on there

Good Case, Rough Edges
Case is great, provides great phone protection. The only draw back is the edges aren't smooth so when you are holding your phone it kinda hurts your protruding fingers. This is not the raised corners, i am talking the sides and bottom (by the charging port). Decent option if you don't hold your phone with one hand a lot.

I’ll never go back
I’ve been using bumper cases for about a year. I have no regrets. I keep a 3M skin on my phone, the bumper, and a MagSafe pop socket. It’s light, sleek and the best thing I’ve ever used on my phone. This is probably the thinnest one I have used so far, it’s also my favorite. If you are hard on your phone I do not recommend using this, it will not protect your phone against hard falls. This is the bare minimum that you can put on your phone without it being completely naked. I do recommend screen protector be used with the bumper

The slimmest bumper case to show off your phone
I have a blue phone. I want the blue to show. This allows that. Has raised corners to keep the phone off of surfaces. Great.Slight issue: the silent switch is super hard to reach with it. The hole is somehow really deep. Can barely reach the switch with my nail. Also some MagSafe accessories won’t mount properly in landscape due to the slight bump the bumper has. Portrait accessories are fine. Just a note, not a complaint. It comes with bumper cases.

It’s not aluminum!..
The media could not be loaded. Be warned it is NOT aluminum! I bought it reading aluminum in the product material and was pissed to know it’s just a super thin hard rubber. The silence button slot is deep so you have to literally dig in there to switch silent on and off. I thought I was going to break it simply installing it. For the price I thought whatever but it’s not made from the material the seller advertises.

Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuy bonito

Best functioning and looking bumper case
It’s as safe as I’d want a bumper case to be. It luxurious looking not super bulky. Buttons are responsive and I love that I can see my phone all the while it being safe

Me encantó
Compré el color plateado y le da una apariencia de iPhone 4 y se ve genial, al ser un marco la parte trasera queda descubierta y uso un accesorio para el magsafeSi cambio de iPhone si duda le compraré un marco
