Hunza Organic Green Split Peas (2 lbs)

No complaints, that's for sure. The taste is probably the best I have tasted for a split pea, seriously, somehow it has a strong pea flavour. Seems odd pointing that out, but many split peas can be bland or tasteless. It tastes a bit more like "fresh" pea, than any other split pea I've had. It just has this vibrant color, flavor, life-filled. They may have taken a wee bit longer to cook than most peas, a bit larger in size perhaps. For the price, this stuff goes a long way. A+

I purchased these peas for a butternut quash pozole I wanted to make from the Food network. The peas are great, organic, high quality with no stones or anything else. They cooked beautifully. I will always buy these.

After pressure cooking in high for 20 min, they didn’t dissolve and make a nice rich sauce like I’m used to from store bought split peas. And they were all shells floating around.

This is the best I've met.

The Hunza split Peas look great. However, after cooking them for 3 hours, they still won't soften up. This is a sign of old peas. The expiration date on the package says good until 2026. Seems to be misleading?
