Cut-End to Cut-End Extension Connector for Philips Hue/Solo Lightstrip (50mm, 4 Pack, White - MICRO 6-PIN V4 / Solo Lightstrip)

I found the fit was right if you left the sleeving complete but removed the adhesive strip from the back, otherwise the fit was too tight and it pushed the cut end off the tabs. Aside of that (little bit of trial and error) these are excellent, just the job!

Thank goodness for Litcessory!!! I've been a long time user of the fantastic Philips Hue light products, indoors and out, but I was really questioning whether their indoor lightstrips were the right solution. This is where Litcessory came in with high quality accessories that allowed me to customise my lightstrip installation exactly the way I wanted. The connectors and the power extension lead I purchased made the job simple and allowed me to install the lightstrips just as I wanted.

This CAN work but do not follow the instructions in the product description, it tells you to strip the plastic coating off, I did this and there is no way to align the strip correctly, I super glued the plastic back on again and it holds the strip in place, it took a couple of attempts to get out all to work but did eventually. Would have been so much easier to just cut the strip and slide it into the connector ( the pins on the connector go onto the top of the hue strip which makes it look like this connector is upside down).

These just do not work as advertised. I tried connecting them to my led strip and the connection is so poor that they just flicker on and off. When the clasp is closed they just stop working all together. Absolute waste of money and impossible to fit correctly.

This version is extra simple to use. Simply cut the strip where shown, slide the cut ends in and clip closed. No need to peel the rubber.

Buyers beware - As an experienced electrician I found these to be misleading and problematic if you follow the instruction litcessory provide. Ended up ruining one length of Philips Hue strip by following the litcessory guide. DO NOT CUT ALL OF THE SILICON JACKET OFF THE STRIP. Only trim the top surface to expose the PCB and clip the connector on to it. Otherwise the strip will be a loose fit and the LED diodes will not work correctly on the extended sections. Leave the sides of the outer silicon jacket intact to locate the PCB on to the connector. Very expensive for what they are it is also rediclulous how Philips do not make or provide any options to bend their Hue strips round 90 degree bends on flat surfaces.

Very poor product, after cutting my hue lightstrip it was clear that the connectors were far to loose to allow a proper connection to the cut ends. This rendered my lightstrip useless, all in all a complete waste of money.

I have 2 corners so 3 bits of strips, first 2 change to the same colour but the last bit does not. I tried another corner connector but same problem. So I reverted to a straight connector that comes in the philips hue box and now the colour matches but I can’t have the corner.
