Suncast 47 Gallon Outdoor Balcony Storage Container Box, Taupe

I looked at every vertical storage cabinet in this size range I could find. I felt this one was the clear winner, even over brands like Rubbermaid. It has the strongest shelves of any one I checked (translated: they hold more weight)and all four of them can be placed in many different configurations. The door latches top and bottom and the design, as a whole, lets in less dust than similar cabinets. The top is strong enough to use as an additional shelf, albeit, outside the cabinet. You can padlock the doors, if you so desire. How much do I like this cabinet? I now have three of them. Incidentally, they are rather easy to put together, in fact, I assembled all three of them without assistance (one at a time, as I acquired them). Sometimes, you will find a slight warp on one of the doors, causing it (usually the left one)to bow outward 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch at the latch, when installed. It is really not a big deal and has no affect on the doors ability to close, latch or be locked, however, I am cursed as being a perfectionist, so, I find it to be a minor annoyance, if it occurs. Now the fix. I eyeballed the doors from the second one (BEFORE I installed it) and could see a slight outward bow. I took two chairs and balanced the door horizontally between them, with the end of the top on one chair and the end of the bottom on the other. I did this in the sun, with the bow upward. After the door warmed up in the sun, I filled a bucket with a few pounds of water and set it on the middle of the door for fifteen to twenty minutes. This counteracted the bow (the advantage of warming plastic/resin) and the door was perfect. One last thing. I had a couple of questions, so I called the manufacturer. I found their customer service to be outstanding. I wish every manufacturer had customer service like Suncast.

This is a great product. I put it together by myself in less than 45 min. The pieces are all clearly marked and the instructions are very simple. It all snaps together to make a very sturdy cabinet. It did have one very minor issue with the instructions...The instruction referred to SIDE PANEL I, but the SIDE PANELS were called SIDE PANEL H on the actual piece. The instructions may have been for multiple models. I thought at first I had a wrong piece, but I followed the instructions and they worked perfectly even with the slight discrepancy. They have a whole line of items in this series. I may purchase others to really organize the garage! I can't wait to organize all my items in it.

Read a lot about breakage in shipping for this product; purchased anyway. It arrived economically packed, but with obvious stress points inside the box - and a broken hinge, which I repaired immediately with epoxy glue. Thereafter the cabinet went together easily and simply thanks to a surprisingly ingenious design. The finished product is sturdy for a plastic cabinet. The doors open and close easily and latch securely. It ends up being a perfect four-shelfer for my garage.

I like everything about the Tall Utility Storage Cabinet except for one thing .... putting on the doors ... Two weeks later and I'm still working on solving this problem ... the plastic hinge that is supposed to be "pulled back" into the pivot point can only be twisted and maneuvered into place when heated to 90 plus degrees...

Just in case I'm the wife... I got the storage today, after work went to put it together ,open the box, didn't have any protection, well, I began to put it together and... One piece broken...we call the phone they put in a paper, told us to sent picture, invoice, we did it, we call again to know what is the solution and they told us to wait until Monday????.. I have the pieces all over my patio, is a week end, I can not put it together and I have to wait until when??? What a bad time I have!...if you want to buy it just in case be relax for the surprise!

I purchased this item and was a little worried since some reviews said the product arrived damaged, but I took a chance and I am glad I did. It arrived very quickly via FedEx (free shipping). It took a few days for the product to be shipped but once shipped it was here in 2 days. It was in perfect condition, nothing cracked or missing. A friend and I put it together in 10 minutes. It went together very easily, the only thing that slowed us down was getting the doors to line up but that only took a couple of minutes. I kept saying "Wow this is really easy". It holds a lot and it is a great deal.

Very disappointing. I looked and searched for the right cabinet for our deck. This cabinet was very cheaply made. I am trying to return it but the company is not sending me the labels to do so. I would recommend not buying from them.

I really like how this has cleaned up my laundry room! Although relatively easy to assemble, I thought the doors were a bit difficult to get on. The top piece seemed to be a little 'caved in', but after a little struggle, I was able to get the pieces to fit together. I also like how the doors have slides at the top and bottom to keep the doors closed. Roomy interior...I was able to organize my everyday items well, and still have room to add things as they are needed. Overall, very happy with this unit.
