I love the idea of this -- having a lid connected to the rest of the storage container . Missing lids had recently become a problem in my home.Having Mr lid has been amazing for leftovers and making lunch !As the title says this is the amount of time from delivery to today - it took for the lid to come off. It came off when it fell out of my cabinet and landed on the floor . That's the first time I saw any of the lids disconnected .As I looked at it again I saw that the lid easily fits right onto the container with no problems being disconnected. Will update after using it disconnected .What it needs obviously is more connection.Update January 2026No breaks of lid since this review they have held up well !!

I like them that is why I got more have you had them separate from the lid?
I had one of the top break off the first week I had had these before and never had that happen.

The best invention
I love these containers. I have a set but I needed a few more to replace some that the lids detach eventually. But I have had mine for 15 years. They don’t stain inside and they fit in the dishwasher nicely. I NEVER have to look for a missing lid. These are a great size as I use them for leftovers everyday and even freeze in them. If they made the hinge a tad stronger they would last for 50 years probably. I highly recommend.

Have lasted 25 years…
I bought these 25 years ago off of an infomercial! They’ve lasted this long but over time, some have gotten lost, used in the garage and now no longer food safe, etc. Imagine my delight when I found the same ones when looking for a replacement! Donating all my other containers now that I have a new supply of these!
