The Protector: Jack Widow, Book 17

Excellent character, descriptively written and a rival to Jack Reacher.I’m just sad I’ve read the last in the series….

This is a great story. Fast and exciting. I read this book in two days, just could not put it down. We all love revenge stories, this is exceptional.

A good fast moving thriller and storyline that has Widow being a Good Samaritan helping a retired Federal Marshal who almost hit him with his car while suffering a heart attack. The request was to save a former biker women and child in a witness protection scheme from the gang of killers whose mission was to take her back to the gangs HQ for punishment. Widow achieved this aim and uncovered a corrupt FBI agent albeit with help from the Marshal once recovered as much as possible from his hospital stay. All in all a good fast moving thriller storyline and read remembering that however well your trained it’s highly unlikely that a single person could achieve what Widow did.

Maybe, just possibly the tactics are a little over the top but what would Widow be without his skills in warfare & trouncing the ‘baddies’! It’s impossible not to be hooked by these fast moving, variable reads. Read this one in 2 days. Don’t think I’ll binge but hard not too. Once a fan, always a fan! Brilliant escapism.

From start to finish there was plenty of action. A great story with many twists and turns. I can't wait to start the next book. Hopefully there will be more to follow from Scott Blade who has created a believable character in Jack Widow.

I have binge read all seventeen books. Once I started reading the first book I couldn't stop I had to read them all. Jack Widow certainly gets about. There is plenty of action in these books. I can't wait to read the next one.

Another great book from the Jack Widow series. Talk about action, thrills, twists and turns this book has the lot. We know there's a certain older carictor out there that lives his life like Jack Widow, but, watch this space, there's a new kid on the block. Another fantastic book from a fantastic series.

Widow lives up to his reputation - a decent guy minding his own business but when trouble knocks - he answers and sorts out the bad guys.An action packed tale that was very enjoyable. Scott Blade really turns up the heat in this book!

I am a reader. I read all the Wizard of Oz books their were 12 or 13. It's been awhile. I was under 12. I was allowed into the adult library ahead of time because I had read so many books. I read all the time. I am 73,so it's alot. I've read Gone with the wind. Its slot of history. And long. I go thru phases. Hillerman, man and wife King Steven and Dean Koonz. I love stories. It also why I love the bible ( book of books)that it is.Your book's are great. I get the wander concept something I would love to do as well. My grandfather and his five brother's were like that. They made a lost a number of fortunes. Sometimes money turns up. I am sure it's an imprint in some of our genetics.Anyway I up for the serie. It is fast passed. And heartfelt. Love Kate

I am envious of you, who have found this series at the beginning of the summer - you are in for a great summers reading. The premise of this story hinges on another drifter named Jack and really feels like it could be a possibility. Even if you don’t know that Jack this one will keep you turning pages long after the sun goes down. Well crafted - thoughtful - action that some how feels right. Start at book #1 and read through to #17 - I guarantee you will run out of Jack Widow before you run out of summer.

I just love this series!! Exciting, moves quickly! This book is no exception! Great characters, great story! Jack Widow is a complex yet simple man who seeks to right the wrongs he stumbles upon in his travels. With his super human strength., the cunning of a tiger he always gets his man!!! Enjoyable roller-coaster ride of adventure.
