I love all Derwent products. But this one was a good buy. It had some of the pans I did not have in my collection. The Derwent quality shows through as you use this product. The colors are amazing. And they are fun to use.

The quality and the time Derwent takes to make these pans is amazing. Totally dependable because of the quality.

I love these. Work well with real mineral watercolors.

You can't go wrong with Derwent and this particular collection puts the colors you want for flesh tones all in one place. It is however a combination from other collections and if you have an assortment of Derwent paints already you may not need this.

I have almost all the series of Derwent “watercolor” pans that they have. This, so far, is the most disappointing. I don't quite understand how this is on the pricier side among them but it really does not give the tones indicated in the color guide. I would not recommend it if you are meaning to add it to your “watercolor” collection. It does really seem just some “colored charcoals.”

I hesitated purchasing because I already have these colors in other pan sets. But, come'on - who wants to tote around 3 sets? These are perfection in terms of skin tones. I love them & glad I didn't talk myself out of them.

These Derwent paint palettes are always a great buy and value! I have all of them and use them for various projects. Highly recommend.

Not sure how or why the white case inside the box looks like it has been sitting in someone’s basement or art studio. It can’t be given as a gift so I’ll keep it for myself.

These Derwent palettes are great, they’re just a little bit different and fun to use whilst being functional and practical. The palette is great, easy to use and versatile with a fabulous water brush and sponge. This set also comes with a 3B graphic pencil, Dark Onyx pencil and Derwent drawing pencil in terracotta. You won’t be getting bright colours, you’ll find the brighter selection in an Inktense palette but this is great for drawing and shading, practising figure work etc. Go on, you know you want to.

This set pairs brilliantly with the water soluble charcoal set, some overlap obviously but you only need the two, a small sketchbook and water brushes for a happy day - and a light day You will need to think more and adjust your technique, the differences between the shades are extremely subtle
