Lava heavy-duty soap works great for the paving job my son has. It does an excellent job cutting through dirt, grease, and grime—way better than regular soap. It’s especially helpful after long workdays when his hands are really dirty. Gets them clean without a ton of scrubbing. Definitely recommend for anyone doing hands-on, messy work!

Also can be used to prevent acne and blackheads. All of my teenage grandchildren have a bar in the shower. One should never scrub hard with this soap because it has a texture that is mildly abrasive. Very effective in breaking down oil and grease

Works as good as it ever did but pricey

Great in between soap. Removes light oil and grease well, unlike most hand soap, but not as strong as the extra harsh hand cleaners.

I use to buy in local food store. No more. Best soap for greasy hands for sure.

Lava hand soap is very difficult to find in stores anymore. It’s not changed but has went u way to expensive for a hand soap that’s been around for years & years. It’s great for dirty hands, arms, legs & face. Grant you it’s not something I’d use on my face often but it cleans pores like a gentle facial scrub & clears acne pretty quick when used only on the acne areas. I used it for that 50 years ago & my children & grandchildren have too. It works! 4 stars for over priced product that cost $9!!

This removes acrylic paint and glue quickly without the harsh chemicals common in liquid paint removers. Rubbing it on a fingernail brush is effective for stubborn spots, especially around cuticles and trapped under fingernails. Such a simple and inexpensive solution!

This soap has been my go-to for many years now. Now that my daughter is an adult, she now uses it too. I travel with a single bar. It can be used to get out stains, wash clothes in a sink or bathtub, or simply to remove sticky, greasy, grimy matter from your hands, arms, ... your body. It's a bit abrasive, so be warned, it's not smooth and silky, it is more like a fine sandpaper. It's affordable and doesn't have a odor. If you work with paint a lot or oil, this is terrific. You'll see this type of soap used at gas stations/service stations. One of the best products you will turn to repeatedly. It just works.

These soaps I bought at a Five and Dime shop in Texas, and was pleased to find them on Amazon, and it does remove paint from hands and other hard to remove dirt

Works well. Wasn’t expecting a bar of soap though as would have preferred using gel.
