In 3-channel mode, you can use the amp's front channels to drive a pair of speakers with 50 watts each, and bridge the rear channels to send 150 watts to a sub. I have it hooked up using the factory high level input on the amp. To the factory radio. And it still sounds good. Sound is louder. It sounds more powerful adding depth to the music. It has high resolution output if you use a quality high resolution format. It is also best to upgrade the speakers for best sound experience. This amp is an older version. They have a newer version but it's twice as much. I would consider this amp mid grade. Not audiophille but not cheap quality. Good for avid and music enthusiastics without spending an arm and a leg.
