Okay me and my wife's gas cap was missing I drive a 08 Denali she drives a '04 Tahoe The gas cap fit my '08 Denali but it did not fit my '04 Tahoe I think it's maybe because even though it said it was a '04 it was probably manufactured in 03 and that was an upgrade just be mindful

Disappointing product
This fuel cap never did work. It did not create the seal needed for the check engine light to turn off. Bought a cap at my local auto part store and the light went away.

Check engine light.
One of the unfortunate things that causes a check engine light. A leaking gas cap. Was in no rush to purchase. Paid less than half of what it would have cost me at the local auto parts store. Cap fit like a glove. I found no difference in how it is constructed when looking at the original cap. Time will tell if this cures the problem. So far good.
