This is a great scale. I wanted an Analog scale in part because of all of the bad reviews by people with Digital scales talking about how many times they had to reset their scale back to zero. I set this to zero when I received it and in 3 weeks haven't needed to reset it. After much searching, this was the longest scale I could find with easy to read numbers. But still my long but medium feet just barely fit. So if your foot is larger than 11 women's/10 1/2 men's there is not enough room. The perfect scale would be wide enough to have the weight dial fit between the feet and a line showing where your heels should be to balance correctly to get an accurate weight.

While I could of used this as a normal analog scale I decided to make it a workshop scale. I don't have the best eyesight but the indicators are a perfect size so I can see them clearly without my glasses. The other thing I love about this is how I can set one of my argon tanks on it to measure the weight and I don't have to support it due to the even rubber padding on the scale. I use this for all my welding and CO2 tanks and it's large enough for weighing my rims (automotive) for one of my cars. Best analog scale I have owned and easy on the eyes for reading the measurements. (Note: the scale wasn't adjusted to 0 before taking the pictures, every surface reads differetly due to hardness).
