Looks nice, seems sturdy and stable, easy to assemble. Before I bought this, I read reviews about this (and similar items) that said it was difficult to put together. I think it's fine, as long as you pay attention and follow the directions. If you've assembled stuff like IKEA before - where you have to pay attention to details in the instructions - then you should have no problems putting this together. I originally bought this to use as a wine rack, but ended up needing it as a bookcase. Probably buy another one for wine. As for style, my wife hasn't complained about it yet, and she hates bookshelves and books, so I guess it's ok. The only downside to this style is that when you put books on it in the usual manner - spine out - then on the right side shelves, you see the back of the book. To see the front of the book, you'd have to have the spine on the inside - wasn't ago does that?!? It's fine if you have just one book on the shelf - like an oversized picture book - but I'll probably use the right hand side for wine. Which brings up an obvious element of this bookshelf; you don't need bookends, but you also can't put knick-knacks on it. Although speakers should fit just fine.

Holds a ton of books and lightweight but sturdy

I really like the look of this bookshelf. It adds a nice decorative touch and doesn’t take up too much room. That said, the storage is a bit limited depending on what you’re trying to put on it. Larger or heavier books don’t fit as well, and you have to be a little mindful of how you arrange things to keep it stable. It works better for lighter items or smaller books. Overall, it looks great and serves its purpose, but it’s not the most practical option if you need a lot of sturdy storage.

I needed a bookshelf in my bedroom, but didn't have much space. This bookshelf was easy to assemble and fits perfectly in my small space.

Great product, did not disappoint! Sturdy, great size but also works in a compact space. Very pleased with this bookshelf. Purchased the light strip separately.
