Super easy to set up - multiple users can access and operate your home. Don't know about longevity but after a few months I cannot believe I went so long flipping switches! My favorite feature is the 'Scenes' - I set one up for 'TV time' and BOOM the lighting becomes exactly how I want it to watch television in the evening. Would highly recommend.

These smart plugs work as advertised, but be aware of the amp rating. A rating of 2 amps is adequate for most household applications.But I used mine to turn on my coffeemaker, and it worked well for 6 months.Not bad considering they are not designed for use on high amp devices like this. But it finally did quit working.Still a good product!

I have a WiFi Security cam that, once in a while, goes offline. I have to unplug it, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in. That's a real problem when you're on the road. This device, via the Wiz app allows me to reset it from anywhere. I'm so thrilled! The only reason I gave it three stars for the setup is that it took way too many tries to get it connected, compared to the same device purchased a couple months ago, for a similar sec cam. Possibly my problem, but since it connected, no problems! I could find uses for a dozen of these devices.

I ordered 3 of these; 2 a few months ago and one more last week. It took 1 hour 30 minutes and a phone call to Philips/Wiz technical support to get these on to my network for the first 2. It turns out, I had to unplug my home WiFi router and plug it back in, THEN manually pair them. With the 3rd one, I just had to unplug and plug my router back in and then it automatically paired. SO! You hear that?? If it doesn’t pair on to your WiFi network, reboot your modem/router. It should pick it up then. But yeah, these are a total pain in the ars to pair on to your WiFi network. Once they’re on, I really appreciate them.

I have decided to buy Wiz from now on because they are so easy to set up with Google Home. Here the switch is working through the surge protected side of my battery backup. I haven't tried it on the battery side, just the surge protector side.When I announce to Ms. Google that I am up for the day she turns this switch (among other tasks) to turn off my electric blanket. I also have Google check it when we leave the house. Peace of mind for old forgetful folk.

I use a lot of Phillips Hue wifi connected bulbs and fixtures around my house, and was looking for a product like this to be able to turn on a wax melt lamp 20 minutes before arriving home. This device meets that need perfectly.Where some devices won't allow you to control them via 5G, this one does. I don't need to be connected to any wifi signal to turn connected devices on or off, over the air cellphone signal is enough. The WiZ app allows control of this device from anywhere, not just my home network. I'm very happy with this product and will definitely use more as ends arise.

I bought this since I already use WiZ light bulbs, which work great. Once I got it, the set up did NOT work. Both the supposedly auto connect & the manual set up did NOT work. I bought another from a retail store just to see if it was this unit and same results. Not working! The website has NO instructions and the FAQ's section setup says the same thing, just plug, connect & use! The WiZ app would NOT even find the plug. So bow im stuck using WiZ for my light bulbs & another brand for my wifi plugs which mean TWO apps. So much for their claim on efficiency, and 1 App for ALL your wireless needs!

Most of our bulbs are WIZ bulbs bulbs and we use the app to control them and some of the light fixtures making these a "lifesaver" to being able to operate those fixtures. Easy to operate via the app or the single on/off button on the side of the plug adapter.
